Rendered speechless, Rachel widened her eyes. She'd thought Matthew would come up with something else, but little did she expect him to say such things blatantly under the guise of professionalism.

Clutching onto Matthew's arm, Rachel squeaked, "What do we do now?"

Matthew's fingers brushed past her soft hands. He chuckled and said, "Don't worry. I'll protect you."

Matthew was slightly astonished. Usually, women would've been scared out of their wits in such situations. Rachel's composure in such a dire situation was truly commendable.

"Just get in the car. I'll ask them what this is about." He urged, placing a hand on her backside before shoving her into the car. He closed the door promptly.

Ian began coldly, "Actually, I don't hit women. It doesn't matter if she hides—you're my target, after all."

Matthew stared back at him icily. Arching his brows, he questioned, "Is that the Serpent's Strike?"

He had asked because he noted how Ian balled his fists. Most people balled their fists with their four fingers closed tightly, resulting in the surface of the fist being flat.

However, Ian balled his fists with his middle knuckle protruding. If he charged at his opponent with his fists facing forward, his middle knuckle would strike the opponent first.

Compared to the flattened surface of a normal balled first, the Serpent's Strike had Ian focusing all his force on a single point which caused much more damage.

This was the unique aspect of the Serpent's Strike, and it was also known as the most brutal style in ancient martial arts.
