Rachel blushed at Matthew's words. What was he talking about? It was so embarrassing!

She didn't dare to meet his eyes and turned to look out the window. Only then did she realize that certain things truly weren't meant for a woman's ears. But… was this what men talked about when they were together?

Matthew smiled and admired her rare show of embarrassment. The longer he looked, the drier his mouth became. Still, he continued, "Terry went looking around for people to treat his erectile dysfunction, but nothing worked. I cured him, so he changed his mind. It's that simple."

Rachel's face was bright red as she stared out the window. She mumbled, "Hmm? Oh. It's time to head back to the company."

Matthew wanted to savor her shyness, so he wasn't willing to return just yet. "Sometimes, a man is the only cure needed. If a woman wants to feel good and be in a good mood all the time, all she needs to do is take the cure.

"I told you there was something wrong with your body earlier, remember? It's all because you haven't taken the cure."

Rachel gnashed her teeth angrily. He was revealing his true colors now, wasn't he?

It was bad enough that he constantly ran his mouth before her. Now, he was using what he'd learned as a doctor and traditional medicine practitioner to say these things.

She turned to glare at him. "What else do you want to say?"

Matthew laughed. "I'm your cure, Rachel. When are you going to sleep with me?"

She tried to kick him. "Get away from me, you pervert!"

He grabbed her ankle and caressed her calf. "Why are you acting like a child? I'm saying this for your good, but here you are, getting mad at me."

Rachel yelped from his touch and immediately pulled her leg back. "I'm really gonna get mad, Matthew."

He shrugged. "I'm doing this for your sake, but it's your loss if you don't want to accept my kindness."

He started the car and continued driving, seemingly in a good mood. The rest of the journey was spent with him listening to the radio.

Onyx Village was located at the foot of Mt. Dranine, and the scenery was beautiful. Matthew parked by a bridge and walked into the village.

When he saw an old man smoking on the other end of the bridge, he pulled out a cigarette and held it out to the old man. "I want to ask you about someone, sir."

The old man took the cigarette. His face became even more wrinkled when he smiled. "Not bad, young man. You know how to offer a cigarette even though you don't smoke. Let's hear it, then. Who are you looking for?"

Matthew knew things would be easier for him now that the old man was happy. He crouched with a smile and asked, "Do you know where Nelson Zapier stays?"

The old man's smile disappeared immediately, and he flung the cigarette at Matthew. "I can't accept your cigarette. I'm unworthy of it. Now, get lost!"

Matthew's heart leaped to his throat. It seemed that he would have problems completing the task.
