Lambda Villa?

Matthew knew this place. This villa was almost a legendary existence. Located by Lambda River, it was famous for having a towering pine tree—the tallest in Lambda City.

Everyone in Lambda City knew about that villa. The odd thing was that that villa had always been uninhabited.

Unexpectedly, Sara wanted to go to Lambda Villa.

Matthew's first thought was that she was the owner of this villa.

He drove through the city until they reached Riverside Road. From there, he drove for about another ten miles before arriving at Lambda Villa.

Matthew was surprised to see the various luxury cars parked at the entrance. When had people starting living in Lambda Villa?

Matthew parked the car by the roadside and turned to Sara. "We're here. You can get down now."

Sara remained seated. After waiting a while and seeing that Matthew wasn't getting out of the car, she frowned. "Open the door for me!"

Matthew frowned. This woman was so demanding. He thought for a moment, then got out and walked to the back to open the car door. "Get out!"

He now just hoped this woman would get out of the car so he could drive home. He never wanted to see her again.

Sara slowly extended her foot, landing her high heel on the ground. She elegantly stepped out of the car, then extended her delicate hand toward Matthew.

Matthew was confused about why she was holding out her hand with the back of her hand facing up.

But it was truly a beautiful hand with pearl-white skin and slender, well-proportioned fingers. It was very attractive.

He recalled the foreign movies he had watched, where the man kissed the back of a woman's hand. He mimicked the gesture, holding her delicate hand and kissing the back of it.

With that, Matthew headed back to the front of the car, got in, and started the engine. When he looked up and saw Sara standing in front of the car, he was startled. Did she have a death wish?

His first reaction was to hit the brakes.

Sara pointed at Matthew. "Get out of the car, escort me into the villa, and help me handle my matters. Then, I'll forget about the hand-kissing incident. Otherwise, I'll make you suffer!"

Matthew hated being threatened. "Whatever! Move, I'm leaving!"

"You…"

Sara never expected that a mere driver would not take her seriously, no matter how much respect the Carters showed him.

She immediately took out her phone. "You refuse to go? I'll call Rachel. Not only will you lose your job, I'll make sure you can't stay in Lambda City anymore!"
