Hayden sighed. "Don't mention it. My father's two disappointing sons were killed, so he sent me here to seek revenge.

"Since I'm already here, I might as well gather all the families in Lambda City and establish Marvel Organization. From now on, Lambda City will be under my control. If you have any issues, just come to me."

Sara raised her thumb. "You're really amazing. You came to handle business and easily took control of the city."

Upon hearing a beautiful woman flatter him, Hayden smiled and said, "I heard your family is looking everywhere for doctors. Have you made progress on that telomere research?"

Sara smiled. "That's a Clark family secret. Normally, I wouldn't respond to this question. But since you asked, I can tell you. I trust that you'll keep it confidential."

Hayden glanced at Matthew, assuming he was Sara's confidant, and solemnly said, "Don't worry, I won't tell a soul."

Looking proud, Sara said, "We've made some progress. We may be able to extend the lifespan of lab rats by a month."

Hayden frowned. "An extra month—is that impressive?"

Sara seemed excited and spoke quickly, as if trying to show off in front of Hayden. "A lab rat typically lives one to three years, usually around two years. Extending its life by a month is equal to extending its life by 1/24. For a human, that's equivalent to adding three years to an 80-year-old's life."

Hayden was shocked. "Is it really that powerful?"

Even Matthew was surprised. This wasn't simply about extending life by three years; the implications were significant.

It proved they were on the right track to extending lives. If they could expand this result, they might be able to extend life by ten, 20 or even 100 years.

Sara hesitated, then said, "I'm staying with the Carters. You go ahead. I'll see you tonight."

Hayden turned to leave, then remembered something and turned back to Matthew. "Hey, you're her bodyguard, right? Take good care of her. If anything happens to her, you'll answer to me!"

With that, he waved to Sara, then went to handle his business.

Matthew shrugged. Sara had nothing to do with him. He was just a driver, and a temporary one at that. He subconsciously curled his lips.

Sara withdrew her gaze from Hayden. The moment she saw Matthew's expression, she became furious. "What are you curling your lips for? You're just a driver who isn't even worthy of carrying his shoes. If you anger him, you'll be courting death!"
