"What I can't stand most is sanctimonious hypocrites," he added. "I'm leaving. Goodbye, and I hope I never see you again."

Tracy fell silent when Rachel mentioned that she had heard it. She had also heard it while lying in the backseat of the car, listening to Matthew and Rachel in the front.
