At Lambda Villa, Hayden groaned in pain on the couch in the living room. His face was swollen and bruised, showing just how much pain he was in.

Hayden dialed Wallace Hobbes' number, and the video call went through.

Wallace was shocked when he saw Hayden. "What happened to you, Hayden? How did you end up like this? Who did this? I'm going to kill him."

Hayden's swollen face was filled with hatred. "The culprit is a chauffeur."

Wallace was in disbelief. "How could a chauffeur be strong enough to do this? You're a martial artist. There's no way a chauffeur can beat you up so badly."

Hayden felt ashamed and upset. "He must be from one of the martial arts families hiding in Lambda City. Otherwise, he wouldn't stand a chance against me. You have to avenge me, Grandpa."

Wallace's eyes were ablaze with anger. "I'll make sure he's dead. Not only am I going to send someone to kill him, I will take out the martial arts family backing him up."

With that, he hung up with a darkened expression.

As the head of the Hobbes family, Wallace had no sons, only a daughter. Thus, he had gotten an ordinary person to marry into the Hobbes family so that the family fortune wouldn't be stolen by an outsider.

After having two grandsons, he patiently trained them to become his successors. As the clueless son-in-law, Henry meddled in the Hobbes family's matter. He even sent Hayden to some remote place like Lambda.

The more Wallace dwelled on those thoughts, the more upset he became. Furious, he stormed toward the room beside the yard and kicked open the door.

Henry ran his hand through his hair. "Do you think I'd ever hurt my son? You're just using me to vent your frustration.

"After putting up with you all these years, am I still just an ordinary person? Just wait. I'll make the Hobbes family belong to the Smiths."

Wallace stormed out of the house and drove straight to a martial arts gym. When he entered, everyone who was training in the gym stopped and greeted him respectfully.

Wallace looked at the burly man in charge. "Some stupid fool in Lambda City messed with Hayden, Anthony."

Anthony Wakefield exuded an intense presence. "Who dares to lay their hand on the Hobbes? They must have a death wish."

Wallace shook his head. "I'm not sure. Just go take care of it yourself. Take out that idiot and wipe out the family behind him."
