Nigel's words sent chills down Rhys Corley's spine. It was a matter of life and death, so Rhys was scared.

When Matthew returned home, he saw Rachel playing with Lorraine in the yard.

Upon noticing Matthew's return, Lorraine cheerfully went over. "I've won against Rachel, Dad. Isn't that amazing? Come one! Let's play rock-paper-scissors as well."

Matthew felt speechless. Lorraine didn't address Rachel as "Ms. Carter" anymore. But seeing how excited Lorraine was, Matthew didn't want to lecture her and kill the mood.

Matthew clenched his fist and chanted along with Lorraine, "Rock, paper, scissors."
