As Tobias watched Matthew approach him, he backed away in fear. "Stay away!"

Matthew's expression was icy. "Answer my question. If you don't, you won't ever have to talk again."

His words filled Tobias with terror. "I… I'll talk… My boss is Levi Lancaster. He told me to come after you."

Levi Lancaster？

Matthew was rather familiar with that name. However, he couldn't believe Levi would be associated with Tobias.

Matthew picked up a chair. "Say that again. Are you sure it's Levi Lancaster?"

Tobias took a deep breath. "Yes, it's him. Many people know about this, actually. It's not some kind of secret. Ask Rose if you don't believe me."

Rose nodded. "He's right. I heard that Tobias and Levi are somehow connected. But this is the first time I've heard it from him directly."

Matthew was surprised. He didn't recall ever offending Levi. Wanting to find out why, he asked, "Why is he doing this?"

Noticing that Matthew was still holding the chair, Tobias thought that he was afraid of Levi. He believed he was finally safe.

In truth, forget the average person, but even people in the underworld were afraid of Levi. He held true power.

"I don't know. If you want to find out, you can ask him. If you don't have the guts, forget it."

The chair slammed onto Tobias's head and split into pieces.

Tobias swayed from the impact. He pointed at Matthew. "I work for Levi… You… You dare hit me…" Before he could finish his sentence, he fell to the ground with a thud.

Beside him, Levi was holding a cup of coffee. He offered it to Isaac. "Mr. Wood, have some coffee."

If the people of Lambda City could see their deputy mayor waiting on a young man, they would be dumbfounded.

Moreover, Isaac simply laid on the couch, as if he hadn't seen or heard Levi.

After a long while, he finally spoke. "I'm not thirsty. When will I get the news that Matthew's dead?"

Levi replied with a smile, "I've assigned Tobias to deal with him. With how vicious he is, Matthew won't last three days."

As he spoke, he turned, walked to the coffee table, and gently set the cup on it.

Hearing his words, Isaac slowly sat up. "I'm thirsty. Bring me the coffee."
