What the hell? Dominic thought that he had misheard Matthew's words. "Do you even know what you're saying? You want me to clean? Are you serious?"

Matthew coldly remarked, "You heard me right. I'll say it again. Your job is to come here and clean this place up."

Dominic was furious. "You expect me to do the cleaning? Are you giving me orders, Matthew? Do you even realize the difference between us?

"I'm a Major, and I'm only protecting you because of my duty. If I weren't assigned this mission, you don't deserve my protection. You sure as hell can't give me orders."

After making his point, Dominic turned to leave.

Meanwhile, when Leo entered the private room, he fixed his gaze on the bodies. The longer he stared at them, the more something felt off.

After he got a clear view of the body, he immediately shouted at Dominic, "Doesn't this guy look like Isaac, Dominic?

Just as Dominic reached for the door handle, he heard Isaac's name and immediately turned around. "Isaac?"

Dominic quickly walked over to the body. Seeing its face sent chills down his spine. It was really Isaac, someone Dominic had to treat with respect. Matthew had actually taken him out.

Dominic turned back to look at Matthew. "Are you aware that his name is Isaac Wood?"

Matthew realized what Dominic was hinting at. "Yeah. I even know that his grandpa is Horace."

Dominic's expression turned pale immediately, and he looked utterly shocked.

Just who was Matthew? He knew Isaac was Horace's grandson but still went ahead and killed Isaac. On top of that, he just sat here and leisurely sipped his coffee.

The more Dominic thought about it, the more terrified he became. A cold sweat broke out on his forehead, and he blankly stood there for a moment.

Suddenly, he recalled Matthew had asked him to deal with the bodies and clear the scene. He immediately said, "I'll go take care of the bodies now and clean everything up perfectly."

After finishing his sentence, Dominic quickly started directing his crew to move the bodies and scrub the place, making sure it was spotless.

Having wrapped things up, Dominic walked up to Matthew. "We've completed the task, Mr. Grant. Do you have any orders?"

Matthew reached out to gently caress Rachel's gorgeous face and softly replied, "I'm aware that you made a three-year agreement with Isaac for our families. I heard it when I was at the door.

"But your approach is too naive. Do you really think Isaac will follow through with the three-year deal? Does he strike you as a reasonable person?"

Rachel couldn't believe that Matthew seemed to hold it against her after everything she had shouldered. "What am I supposed to do? Do you think I'm stupid? I was desperate and just trying anything."

Matthew gently soothed her. "I just feel heartbroken seeing you in pain, and I'm not calling you silly. Some burdens just aren't meant for women to bear. Let your man handle it.

"Look at this. I stepped in and dealt with it in no time."

Rachel hummed in acknowledgment. She used to see herself as a rich, influential, and competent CEO, while Matthew was just a chauffeur with some medical skills.

But at this moment, she realized that she had been mistaken. In the face of real danger, she felt so vulnerable and helpless. She couldn't manage without Matthew.

"I admit I was wrong, Matthew. I shouldn't have acted like I knew it all and decided everything by myself. Breaking with you and trying to handle everything by myself was the wrong move. Honestly, I can't deal with it. Feel free to punish me."
