Jonas shook his head in denial. He thought that the assassin would be able to kill Matthew, so how did things turn out like this?

Needless to say, Jonas didn't dare to voice out his thoughts, backing away as he said, "Let's talk it out."

Upon hearing that, Matthew stated coldly, "I am talking it out with you!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Matthew threw a kick and sent Jonas flying till his back hit the wall. Then, he collapsed to the ground.

Jonas let out a wail and clutched onto his stomach in pain as he curled up on the ground. He was in so much pain that he screamed, "You… Don't kick me! We can talk it out nicely!"

Matthew then coldly replied, "You want me to talk it out with you nicely when you had an assassin ready with a sniper rifle on the roof? Is this how the Fuller family 'talks it out' with people? If it is, then I should do the same!"

While Matthew spoke, he walked toward the desk and rummaged through the drawers. After he found the bullets, he fished the gun out and unloaded the magazine. Then, he loaded the bullets into it one by one.

Seeing such a familiar scene, Julian's face drained of its color. He said, "Let's talk it out nicely, alright? We don't need to do this. Say something, Mr. Fuller."

Jonas was scared out of his wits. "That's right. Don't load the gun. We can talk it out."

Click. One of the bullets was loaded into the magazine.

Matthew held up another bullet and said, "What's the hurry? You can wait till I've fully loaded the magazine. I've told you, anyone who reinstates the production of Lifehaven Pharmaceuticals will receive a full round of bullets from me.

"Eddie has already gotten his fill, and now it's time for you to receive it. Don't worry. I won't miss even once."

However, Matthew ignored his cries and remained cold and unfeeling as he continuously loaded the bullets into the magazine.

Finally, he loaded the last bullet into the magazine, and Matthew loaded the magazine back into the gun with dexterity.

Upon seeing that, Jonas screamed, "What do you want if not money? I'm telling you—you should save yourself from trouble. My dad will definitely hire a bunch of assassins to kill you if you kill me now!

"Don't think so highly of yourself! We can always hire more and more people—if ten isn't enough, we'll go for 20, and if that still isn't enough, we'll hire 100 assassins! My family is rich as fuck! I dare you to try me!"

Just then, Matthew pulled the trigger and fired all of the bullets at Jonas. Soon enough, a huge hole was created by the bullets in Jonas' chest, and blood began to gush out of the wound.

The click of the firing pin sounded, indicating an empty shell, and Matthew finally stopped shooting.
