Clement raised his brow and said, "I really can't stand people like you—you never take any risks, yet you still gain all of the power and money. Stop making it seem as if you're sacrificing yourself for the greater good when you're not.

"We're all in this together, and it's not as if we're dealing with those idiots who are working for us. So, cut that out."

Lyndon flushed red from getting told off. "You better watch your mouth and start minding your own business. I was the one who formed the plan, so just do as I say, alright?"

Clement felt dissatisfied and refuted, "Why should I? The building belongs to the Fuller family, and I own a part of it too. What right do you have to burn it up just for the sake of your personal gain?"

Lyndon gritted his teeth in frustration. Clearly, it was Clement who couldn't come up with another plan but still wanted to hold him back and spoil his plans.

He was so furious that he wanted to slap Clement and call it a day, but Lyndon knew that if he did that, none of them would benefit from it in the end.

Lyndon needed to fight to gain the most benefits out of it. "I've already taken out a high-value policy from an insurance company, so we'll still be able to earn some money if the building's on fire."

Clement then turned to look at Anson, asking, "I've got no issues with it. What about you?"

At this moment, he felt a bout of joy bursting from within. He wanted to see just how Anson would answer now that he's passed the baton back to him.

Anson smiled and replied, "I support you, Uncle Lyndon. But I'm quite interested in the businesses in the northwestern states, so I hope that you'll let me handle that when you become the head of the family. It's alright, isn't it?"

Lyndon's eyes flickered—he had to admit that Anson was pretty smart, securing the biggest piece of the pie before Lyndon was officially crowned the head of the family.

After a moment's thought, Lyndon nodded and said, "Of course it's fine. You know I treat you the best."

At that, Clement stood up abruptly. If Lyndon was the head of the family, and Anson had gotten the biggest piece of the pie, then there was nothing in store for him.

Rachel picked up the mug from her desk and placed it down again. When she saw that there were only a few sheets of tissue left in the packet, she put the pack into her drawer and replaced it with a brand-new one.

But it felt a little off, so she pulled out around ten sheets of tissue. It seemed that it wouldn't be enough, so Rachel pulled out more until she pulled out half the pack of tissue paper. Then, she finally stopped and sat back down.

After sitting for a while, Rachel scrunched her nose, as if she had smelled something bad. Then, she opened the drawers and pulled out a packet of wet tissues, pulling off the opening so that it would be easier to use later.

Once Rachel had set the wet tissues and dry tissues on the desk, she became even more expectant, with a blush slowly forming on her face. She suddenly felt as if she was drunk and reached up to feel her warm cheeks.

At this moment, her office door was knocked on.

Suddenly, Rachel felt all excited, and her eyes welled up with anticipation as she yelled, "Come in!"
