Matthew sported an apologetic look. "Something happened in my family a while back, and we lost touch. Could you tell me where Tony lives?"

The convenience store owner pointed southeast. "It's the last house in the southeast of the village. There are two dogwood trees in the yard, and the place looks pretty rundown. You can't miss it."

Matthew waved goodbye to her and grabbed his cigarettes and lighter before leaving.

Strolling down the main road, he realized that Suncroft Village was unlike any other. Two rows of sycamore trees lined the path, their thick foliage blocking out the sunlight.

As Matthew walked in the shade, a cool breeze brushed by, and he immediately felt refreshed.

Many people were relaxing under the big trees, cooling off. A few old people gathered around a chessboard, arguing heatedly. A group of old ladies sat in a circle, gossiping among themselves about the neighborhood. Meanwhile, some kids were running around with water guns.

In the distance, an elderly man in his 70s was reading a book as he walked, his voice loud and clear.

"According to Healing with Acupuncture, what does an imbalance of energy during the summer indicate? Could it be heat imbalance or energy imbalance?"

Matthew stopped in his tracks when he realized that the old man was reading something related to traditional medicine. He subconsciously tried to figure out the answer but realized he didn't know much about this.

As the old man came closer, he couldn't help but ask, "So, what's the answer, mister?"

With a puzzled look, the old man gazed at Matthew and pointed at his chest. "Are you really asking me?"

Matthew replied with a smile, "Yes. Tell me the answer."

Out of nowhere, he started yelling, "What is the answer? What does the symptom mean?"

The old man kept asking as he looked around. When he spotted Matthew, he looked like he had discovered something amazing. He smacked his forehead and exclaimed in surprise, "Why am I so silly? I have a mouth under my nose. I can just ask."

Upon finishing his sentence, he walked to Matthew. "Can you tell me the answer? What does an imbalance of energy during the summer indicate? Could it be heat imbalance or energy imbalance?"

Matthew was at a loss for words. He threw the question because he didn't know, but the old man asked him instead. "Sorry, I have no idea."

The old man leaned closer to Matthew and held Matthew's hands. He pitifully pleaded, "Tell me the answer, please. You've got to know this. You're young and educated."

Matthew quickly pulled his hand away and stepped back. "I honestly don't know. Try asking someone else."
