Benedict looked delighted. "Really? Thanks a lot. I had a feeling that once you were back to your old self, no one in the village would need to visit the hospital for treatment again."

Tony went over the instructions and dosage with Benedict before leaving with Matthew.

As they came to the village entrance, Matthew grabbed Tony's arm. "Let's head out."

Tony was a little baffled. "Aren't we going to look for David?"

Smiling, Matthew replied, "Of course, we need to find him, but you can't keep tagging along. I'm going to find you somewhere to rest, or else your body will collapse."

Tony was worn out and aching, barely able to keep going. "Okay, I'm going home."

Matthew leaned closer and stated, "You're not going home. I'll take you to a safer place."

Tony got it right away. "Are you worried that Darius might come back with his men?"

Matthew felt conflicted about it. Although Tony asked for Darius to be spared, it wouldn't make a difference. Darius had already gone down the path of no return. Matthew had this gut feeling that he'd be back.

But Matthew couldn't bring himself to tell Tony. It might make Tony worry and stress him out.

Matthew uncrossed his arms. "It's not what you think. I just want to show you to a nice place."

Half an hour later, Tony and Matthew came to the ninth floor of Opulent Club.

Tony eagerly stared at Matthew. "Can you really make it happen?"

Matthew nodded. "Yes."

Even though he promised without hesitation, he didn't have much confidence in it. After all, Ansel didn't give him a heads-up, and the conversation just ended up here. But he wasn't annoyed at all. He was also hoping Tony could use his medical expertise to help people.

Tony clapped and cheered, "Awesome! This is just perfect. I'll get to practice medicine soon. I'm going to be a doctor again. I've been waiting for this day for so long."

As Tony spoke, tears welled up in his eyes. No one knew the struggle he had gone through to reach this point. Being this doctor was all he ever wanted.

He thought he'd never get the chance to become a doctor again until the day he died. This news was so unexpected.
