With her face flushed red, Rachel protested, "How am I longing for a man? Don't say it like that. I just miss him."

Rachel looked it up online. At her age, it was normal to want more after experiencing pleasure. The absence of such thoughts would be a real problem.

Tracy looked at Rachel's stunning beauty and felt a little jealous. She comforted Rachel and even brought her coffee. Yet Rachel was thinking about another man.

She felt a surge of emotion hitting her, giving her the urge to confess. Those words came rushing from her heart to the tip of her tongue, but she hesitated.

If Tracy were to confess her feelings, one of two things might happen. They might get closer, hang out, and even sleep together. That would be exactly what she'd been wishing for.

But there was always a chance that they would drift apart. Tracy simply couldn't accept that outcome.

Tracy mulled it over for a long while and decided not to stay quiet about her feelings. After a pause, she figured it'd be better to break Matthew's and Rachel's relationship, then take things slow with Rachel.

With a plan in mind, Tracy earnestly stated, "Something isn't right, Rachel. In modern dating, women are the queens in relationships. Any guy who wants to be with a queen has to fulfill three conditions.

"The man has to be richer than the woman, or else it might feel like you're doing charity work. Secondly, he has to make you the center of his world like a simp. On top of that, he can only care about you. Lastly, as the male partner, he has to be considerate, loyal, and do what he's told. So, which one of these does Matthew check off?"

This was the first time Rachel had heard something like that. She didn't know much about relationships, so she was skeptical about the standards Tracy was talking about.

"That's not looking for a male partner. It sounds more like you're finding someone rich to pamper you. Seriously, stop messing around."

Smiling, Tracy coaxed, "I'm not joking around. I'm being serious here. Nowadays, we have more men than women in the society, making us the queens. Those are just basic conditions. Besides, you're gorgeous, so you should set your standards higher. How many days has it been since he last showed up? I don't think he cares about you at all. A guy like that isn't worth it."

Tracy didn't expect Matthew to ask her to leave as soon as he walked in. Her expression turned cold. "I still have things to say to Rae. Since I was here before you, you should leave."

Tracy wasn't going to leave and let Matthew have Rachel to himself. No matter what he said, she was firm about staying in the office.

Matthew was about to speak up when Rachel interjected, "Can you give us some space, Tracy? We can talk about it next time."

Tracy felt embarrassed. Since Rachel herself had told her to leave, she had no reason to stick around.

Furious, Tracy glared at Matthew and stormed toward the door.

Matthew ignored Tracy's death stare and called out with a smile, "Close the door."
