Did she not have enough money?

Matthew wondered why she didn't transfer the money to him on her phone, but he held back from asking about it because she was being nice. "No problem. Here's my phone number. Save it on your phone."

The woman shook her head. "Sorry, I lost my phone. Otherwise, I would've just transferred the money to you. Can you find me a piece of paper and write down your number?"

Matthew suddenly got it. No wonder she didn't transfer the money through her phone, but he didn't want to trouble her just because of 80 dollars.

"Don't worry about it. Giving me 20 dollars is enough."

She shook her head. "I can't just leave it like that. If I owe you 80 dollars and don't pay up, I'd feel bad."

Matthew felt defeated. "Fine. I'll write my phone number down for you."

He opened the car door. After grabbing a napkin, he wrote his number on it and handed it to her. "Here you go."

She reached out her hand to take the napkin but tripped and stumbled right into his arms.

In an instant, her delicate, firm body pressed against Matthew's chest. He caught a whiff of a faint perfume smell.

Out of nowhere, Matthew felt his heart skip a beat, so he quickly took a step back.

The woman shyly apologized, "Sorry, I didn't mean to. Are you hurt?"

Hurt?

Matthew recalled the soft touch from earlier and the sensation when her body pressed against his chest. It was gentle, like a massage. There was no way it could hurt.

Why did she apologize?

Smiling, Matthew replied, "Relax. I'm fine."

Matthew didn't know why his heart was racing even though he had just spent an intimate moment with Rachel earlier.

Why did he get all excited?

Matthew quickly warned himself that spending the rest of his life with Rachel was all he wanted. No matter how perfect this woman seemed, it didn't matter anymore.

Anisha caught Darius checking her out, but she acted like she didn't notice and murmured, "36E."

Darius felt his throat going dry. "What kind of design do you prefer?"

Anisha replied in a playful tone, "Just get whatever you like. Hurry up and go."

Darius felt his heart skip a beat. It sounded like there was more to Anisha's message, as though she was suggesting that the lingerie was for him.

He eagerly agreed, "I'll go buy it right now."

With that, Darius rushed off. Watching him leave so excitedly, Anisha felt more confident that she finally had him in her grasp.

Anisha walked to the door and locked it. Then, she whipped out her phone again and sent a voice message to Siren. "Did Matthew fall for it?"

Siren confidently responded, "He took the bait. I barely touched him, but he got flustered and ran away. Next time, if I tease him a little more, he'll be completely hooked on me."

Anisha didn't expect things to be so easy. "Take him out when he's all caught up in his feelings for you."
