The South Regent gulped nervously, shaken by what Ethan said.

He asked, “Are those the reasons you came up with?”

“Not all of them.”

Ethan had more than three ways to save his men. The three options he provided were simply selected after considering himself, the South Regent, and the South Regent’s opponents. They might not be the best option, but they were more than enough to deal with the South Regent.

Ethan said, “I don’t need reasons to take them back.”

The South Regent stiffened, his whole body tensing up. “What do you mean?”

“I’ll just beat you up.”

“You think you can take me?”

The South Regent found it amusing, but he dared not laugh. The three options Ethan provided had pressured him immensely.

He got up and asked, “Why don’t we have a little spar?”

He did not want to miss the opportunity to fight Ethan. He might not be as eloquent as the man, but he might still stand a chance to beat him physically. It might be his only chance at victory.

“Sure.”

Ethan nodded.

The South Regent ordered his men to stand down. Then, he got into position and charged at Ethan before aiming a kick at Ethan’s chest.

Ethan did not bother to dodge. Instead, he bent backward and did an upward roundhouse kick. His kick landed precisely at the South Regent’s chest, sending the man flying and then tumbling a few times upon crashing.

The South Regent could barely keep himself together. He was kicked in the chest?

He quickly recollected his thoughts and pushed himself up from the floor, bouncing up nimbly.

“I underestimated you. This time, I won’t go easy on you.”

He cracked his knuckle as he strode toward Ethan, faster this time and his stance steady, entering battle mode. He then threw a series of rapid punches aimed at Ethan’s face.
