"Cole, you've changed."

For all those years that we were married, I had never been so harsh on her before.

"You too. I remember that in the past, you'd never, ever hurt your own son."

Xavier was just a young boy. How could she let him be on live streams? How could she take him to all those places not suited for children?

The thought of it infuriated me.

"Yvonne, we'll stay in each other's lanes from now on." I considered this a complete cut-off from her. The school transfer process for the children was quickly handled. Looking at the signed papers, I remembered the last time I saw Yvonne.

There was no sadness in me, only anger.

Xavier looked at his new school and refused to get out of the car. "I don't want to change schools. I want to go back."

I sent Jonas inside first before turning to look at Xavier, who was throwing a tantrum.

"Tell me when you've had enough crying. I'll take you in."

"This is kidnapping," Xavier said harshly.

"How could I kidnap my own son?"

Xavier realized that what he said was a little inappropriate. He looked at me, fuming.

"Xavier, I don't care what you think of me. All I care about is your safety."

He bit his lower lip.

I said, "Mr. Dawson has been fired. The evidence I sent to the police is more than enough to land him in prison for life."

He would surely try to seek revenge on Xavier. I could not let such a thing happen.

"Why are you doing this to Mr. Dawson?"

Up until that moment, Xavier still did not know why Quentin had to leave. That was good for him. I did not need him to know about all those dirty things. It would not help with his growth.

"Go to school."
