Chapter 41 Kneel and Apologize to Me 

Boris frowned. Then, hesitating, he asked, “Who?” 

Steven blinked and took a step back abruptly. The girl hidden behind Steven flashed out and threw herself into Boris’s arms.

“Boris! I came back early after recording the show!” Vivi said delicately, “Are you surprised?” 

Boris looked down at Vivi with a look of disappointment in his eyes. 

He pulled her out of his arms and replied perfunctorily, “Yeah.” 

Vivi took his arm again. “I wanted to tell you. But after receiving a call from Steven, I decided to come back secretly.” 

“Well.” 

“I’ve been recording this show for three days. Do you miss me after such a long time?” 

“Sit down first.” Boris didn’t answer the question. 

Steven didn’t see the difference yet. He laughed and said, “Okay! Now everyone is here! I announce that my love mobilization meeting will start now! For my life happiness, you should come up with some good ideas!” 

After Boris sat down, he glanced at the whole box while Steven was speaking. 

Boris didn’t see Ziana. 

Didn’t she come to this appointment? 

Then who was she all dolled up to meet? 

Then he seemed to have finally remembered that she had financial backers, and his face became 

even sourer. 

Her financial backers were useless when she had an accident. What use are they to her? 

It might be better if he were her financial backer. 

“Boris?” Vivi called him in a low voice from the side, “What are you thinking? Why are you 

distracted?” 

He came back to his senses and replied casually, “Nothing.” 

Vivi smiled. “I didn’t expect Steven to like Miss Scott. He is so romantic that he would move me if I were Miss Scott!” 

“Really?” Boris frowned, “Are all you women so superficial?” 

How can this be called superficial? What we all like is this kind of visible love, the feeling of being 

taken to heart.” 

“Hehe.” Boris smiled. 

Weren’t the things he had done secretly for Ziana more romantic than Steven’s plan to send flowers and set off fireworks? 

That was what a mature man was like. He did it but never said it. Because he was afraid, Ziana would 

love him more and haunt him. 

But he was also worried that Ziana, that stupid woman, would not really be abducted by Steven’s 

low–level romance.

In the box, Mr. Zern and Muyo Brand’s person in charge, Shawn, had arrived, and Sisily was also 

there. 

The atmosphere between the three of them was not good.

Ziana said they would meet at seven o’clock and were not allowed to be late. But Shawn deliberately arrived half an hour late and then found that Ziana hadn’t come yet!

Shawn patted the table in dissatisfaction, “Miss Scott is so arrogant that she came to meet me with a bodyguard. What can I do to you? Are you here to apologize sincerely? It’s too much of you to apologize and be an hour late. Mr. Zern, is this what you mean by sincerity?” 

He asked several questions forcefully in succession. He planned to suppress Ziana first, so that he could control her later. 

Mr. Zern wiped the sweat from his forehead and said with a smile. “No. Miss Scott must be delayed by something.” 

“I was late on purpose. And what can you do with me?” Ziana interrupted suddenly, making Shawn even angrier. 

He stood up in a pretentious manner. “Okay! Ziana Scott, you have the guts! If you don’t kneel and apologize to me today, Muyo Brand will sue you to the end.” 

Facing his anger, Ziana raised her eyes and glanced at him. The bodyguard behind her immediately brought a chair behind her and respectfully asked her to sit down. 

She folded her arms around her chest and said slowly, “I’ll give you a chance now. If you kneel and beg me, I’ll consider sparing Muyo Brand mercy.” 

“What?” Shawn almost jumped up. “What did you say? If I kneel and beg you? Ziana, what are you talking about?” 

“Aren’t you apologizing to me tonight?” Ziana tilted her head and looked at him, smiling slightly. “Think about it. I’ll only give you only one chance!” 

“‘You!” 

“Now kneel to beg me, and then withdraw the lawsuit. Nothing will happen to Muyo Brand. And you can still be your manager. Otherwise, you will be miserable.” 

Hearing her alarmist words, Shawn laughed. “What a joke! Are you threatening me? Who do you think you 

are? Muyo Brand is a big company. It won’t collapse because of your words. Ziana, I advise you not to provoke me anymore! Hurry up and apologize to me!” 

“Mr. Zris, please calm down.” Seeing the tension between the two sides, Sisily smiled to ease the atmosphere. 

She poured a glass of wine, stood up, and handed it to Ziana in person. “Miss Scott, please drink this 

glass of wine and calm down: We are both on the same show and live in the same room. As an anchor at Muyo Brand, I’m embarrassed to be in this situation. Miss Scott, Please don’t give me a hard time, and don’t be angry.” 

Shawn’s eyes rested on the wine glass, secretly thinking Sisily was sensible. 

As long as Ziana drank this glass of wine, they would have a wonderful time tonight.

Ziana snorted with a smile. She pushed Sisily’s hand away and did not accept the wine. 

Sisily blinked in confusion. “Miss Scott?” 

“Sisily, if you fight against me, there will be no good end.” Ziana warned her. 

Sisily shrugged innocently. “I’m not against you. I’m trying to make peace! Have a drink, Miss Scott. After drinking, we’re all friends.” 

Ziana looked at her silently for a few seconds, then suddenly raised her eyebrows with a faint smile and took the glass of wine from Sisily’s hand.
