Chapter 73 She Doesn’t Deserve to Be My Opponent

The Hidden Gold Mine Heiress Divorcee By Vera Whitehead Chapter 73

The night was dim and the street lights came on in turn.

Someone got out of the black business car.

“Jack, how is it you?” Steven looked at the person coming in surprise. “Did my dad tell you to

come?”

Jack nodded and said, “Mr. Steven, Mr. Howard wants to see you tonight.”

“I don’t want to see him.” Steven refused without even thinking, “I have something to do tomorrow! Go back! Tell him I’ll come home in a couple of days when I’m free to pay him my

respects.”

“Mr. Steven, Mr. Howard has something to say to you.”

Steven rolled his eyes speechlessly.

What kind of things could his father have to say?

His father just grabbed him now and then to give him a lecture, repeating the same scolding words.

He had memorized them.

Steven directly ignored Jack and turned around to leave.

At this point, four bodyguards suddenly came down from the business car.

Steven frowned warily and asked, “Jack, what is this?”

Jack smiled and said, “Taking the young master home.”

“Jack!” Steven gritted his teeth, but he was quickly seized by the bodyguards.

He was so angry that he screamed, “Jack! Jack! Jack! Let go of me!”

Several men were unmoved, escorting him to the car.

Steven saw Boris, who hadn’t left yet, and called out for help, “Boris! Help!”

Boris in the car snorted quietly. His fingers, which were holding a cigarette, tapped the steering

wheel.

A few moments later, he pushed the door to get out of the car.

Steven rejoiced. He was just about to speak when his head hurt and his eyes went black, and he passed out.

Jack waved his hand and asked someone to carry him to the car. He walked to Boris slowly.

He nodded respectfully. “Mr. Lewis, greetings.”

Get donos

Boris inhaled his cigarette, and Jack immediately cupped his hands to catch the ash Boris had

dusted off.

“Mr. Howard will send Mr. Steven abroad. He won’t be in your sight for at least six months, so the

land…”

Boris lowered his eyes to look at him and suddenly smiled, “I won’t grab things from elders. Since

Mr. Howard wants it, I’ll let it go and consider it a tribute to him. Goodbye.”

Jack watched the Rolls Royce go away for a long time before he got into the business car.

Boris drove back to the old mansion. It was almost ten o’clock, and Zezili was still awake.

“Waiting for me?” He took off his suit, took the milk from Carrier’s hand, and brought it to Zezili. “Grandpa, please tell me if there’s anything.”

“I want to see Ziana tomorrow.”

Boris chuckled, saying, “It’s a piece of cake. I’ll do it for you.”

“Really?” Zezili was happy. “Last time you said you’d invite her to your home, but it’s not even done yet.”

Boris said as he walked upstairs, “I didn’t have time last time. But tomorrow I’ll pick her up myself. She wouldn’t dare refuse.”

Zezili said, “If you don’t invite Ziana tomorrow, you don’t have to come back.”

Boris stopped and looked back with a frown, “Grandpa, you question my charm? I don’t have to bother inviting Ziana. As soon as I look at her, she will follow me home.”

“Then you do now.”

He pressed his tongue against his teeth and said, “Carrier, when Grandpa finishes his milk, let him sleep.”

It was late at night.

The lights were on in an upscale apartment in Japera City.

A woman was pacing around anxiously, talking sternly and hostilely on the phone.

She commanded resentfully, “Put the news out tonight! Write the headline as we discussed. Also, send out the video and the photos I gave you. The evidence is all there, and she’s screwed this time!”

If the scolding continued like this, she believed that in less than a day, Ziana’s reputation would be completely ruined.

The next morning.

Ziana came downstairs and just sat at the dining table when she was told by Yudel, “You were photographed the day you accompanied some masters to dinner.”

“I know.” Ziana yawned. “The pictures are finally on the internet?”

Yudel looked at her through the lenses. “You seem to have been expecting the photos to come out?”

“Yeah.” Ziana laughed and said, “I didn’t expect her to be able to bear for so long. Give me the pad.”

Yudel handed her the pad.

She looked at it quickly and then commented, “I didn’t expect myself to look so beautiful in the photos. I’m such a beautiful woman.” Yudel handed her the bread, saying, “I’ve asked someone to contact masters. I’ll go and negotiate with them later on how to issue a statement to clarify.”

“There’s no rush. Wait and see what else she will do.” Ziana calmly took a bite of the bread and chewed it gracefully before continuing, “She has been secretly preparing for such a long time, so she should have more than just these few photos.”

“Then wait a little longer?” Yudel reminded her, “The public opinion on the Internet is not friendly to you.”

“Wait longer. Public opinion is being manipulated. When she’s run out of tricks, we’ll make a strike.”

Ziana said calmly and even smiled.

But the content of her words was frightening, “I will finish her off completely this time. She’s been pestering me for so long, and I’m tired of it. With her useless dirty tricks, she doesn’t deserve to be my opponent.”

Yudel understood what she meant. “I’ll arrange it. You have a date today?”

“Yes,” Ziana replied lazily.

Just as she finished speaking, the doorbell rang.

Ziana shrugged at Yudel and said, “It’s supposed to be the person who comes to pick me up.”

She got up and took the bag, from the maid and headed for the door.

Yudel thoughtfully followed her, “You’re a little feverish today. Will you be okay with the date?”

“I am fine.”

The two spoke and came to the door. When they saw the visitor, they were stunned.

Ziana frowned unhappily, “Why you? Where is Steven?”
