Reign seemed still mad at Haylan, standing quietly staring at the sea 

Haylan had no choice but wait patiently for Reign to be ready to speak. 

In fact, he had realized why Sharvin sent the invitation, and why Labenz refused to cooperate

Doubts filled Haylan as he observed Reign’s reaction, though he was smiling and appeared rather composed.

However, seeing Reign like this now, he suddenly had tan urge to hug and kiss her, and acted on it.
