When Jared opened his palms, a blue flame appeared and flickered on it.

“Well, I know the magecraft of controlling fire too,” Jared said.

Jared initially thought that Josephine's unique ability was powerful. Now, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

Nevertheless, the phoenix was different, exuding a stronger aura than Josephine's. It was as if the phoenix wasn't controlled by her.

When Josephine waved her hand, the phoenix turned into a flame that surrounded Josephine until it slowly faded away.

Jared widened his eyes in surprise as he looked at Josephine. “Is this real? How is it possible?”

Jared never knew that drinking human blood could elevate one's power. Apart from being an expert in medical skills and alchemy, he obtained the Holy Guide to Pill Crafting from the Lord of Medicine God Sect. Nevertheless, there were no such records in the guide.

“Why should I lie to you? Snowy became stronger after it coincidently licked Josephine's wounded hand. Didn't you witness it when Snowy killed the gigantic beast?” Lizbeth retorted.
