Ellinor could tell that this woman was clearly out to get her.

Ellinor quietly eyed Sophia. “So if I took off my hat and mask, you’d let me go? Why are you so keen on seeing my face? Just because I’m a little chubby, you suspect me of theft? If you have so little respect for people, then call the police! When they arrive, if they ask me to remove my mask and hat, I’ll cooperate fully!” 

After careful thought, Ellinor was pretty sure this woman named Sophia wouldn’t call the cops.
