Ellinor wasn’t sure if she was overthinking, but she always had this hunch that Theo was watching to see what dish she’d pick.

Sophia enthusiastically offered Ellinor some fried chicken wings. “Moon, try these wings; they’re my absolute favorite! They taste fantastic!”

Ellinor happened to love wings too, but she didn’t feel like having any today because she felt nauseous.

She thanked her with a smile and continued eating food she normally didn’t like, just wanting to finish this meal that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

However, because she was eating food that she didn’t like and because her pregnancy had made her lose her appetite, Ellinor started feeling uncomfortable and was on the verge of throwing up.

She stood up calmly and said, “Excuse me, I need to go to the restroom.”

She left in a hurry, forgetting to take her phone with her.

Not long after she left, Ellinor’s phone on the table buzzed twice.

Sophia reached for it, but Theo stopped her in a low voice. “Don’t touch other people’s stuff!”

Sophia shrugged. “I wasn’t going to. I just thought I’d take her phone to the restroom. What if there’s an emergency and someone needs to reach Moon?”

Having said that, Sophia picked up Ellinor’s phone and stood up to take it to the restroom, but she accidentally glanced at the phone screen, and her eyes froze.

Then she handed the phone to Theo. “Theo, look at this!”

Theo took a sip of water. He wasn’t interested in checking someone else’s phone, but since Sophia had pushed Moon’s phone in front of him, even if he didn’t want to, he ended up seeing it.

Theo’s pupils suddenly contracted.

Ellinor threw up in the restroom. After cleaning herself up and coming back, she didn’t notice anything unusual on the dining table.

Sophia reminded her. “Moon, your phone was buzzing while you were away. Seems like someone was trying to reach you.”

Only then did Ellinor realize that she had forgotten her phone. She tensed up, but after noticing that the phone was still in its place and untouched, she let out a sigh of relief. After thanking Sophia for the reminder, she picked up her phone to check and saw a message from Bartlett.
