Theo was nonchalant. “Mmhm, we’ve already ordered. You guys order whatever you feel like.” 

“You guys already ordered?” Jacob said with an eager grin. “Then I’ll order some of Belinda’s favorite dishes.” 

As Jacob ordered, Belinda’s mind was elsewhere, mulling over what was going on. 

Just before she and Jacob arrived, Theo and Ellinor were still talking. But as soon as they showed up, Theo and Ellinor stopped their conversation. 

Theo had a stern face, as if someone owed him a lot of money. Ellinor was staring out the window. 

This couldn’t go on!

They had been apart for half a year. If they kept giving each other the cold shoulder, they really would break up! 

In a cold war, the guy had to make the first move for things to get better. 

And Theo’s current attitude, with him acting all high and mighty, would only push Ellinor further away. 

After Belinda thought about it, she realized that she couldn’t convince Theo, but she knew someone who could. 

She immediately messaged Veronica on social media, letting her know that Ellinor was back.

Veronica had no classes that afternoon. She had just come back from school and taken a shower when she saw Belinda’s message, stating that Ellinor was back. 

There was also a sneaky photo of Theo and Ellinor sitting face to face, both looking pretty grim. 

Veronica was about to jump for joy. She immediately replied, “Where are you guys? Where did Theo find Ellinor?” 

Belinda responded, “We’re at a restaurant now. Ellinor showed up on her own, and Theo happened to run into her.” 

Veronica quickly typed. “He should be bringing her home soon, right? I need to go tell Grandma the good news ASAP!”
