The two of them made it to the security room, and they asked the guard to pull up the security footage. 

And there it was. They saw the footage of Theo carrying Ellinor out of the venue. 

Sophia clenched her fist under the table. “That damn Theo! He took Ellinor and didn’t even have the decency to tell us. He had us worried sick!” 

She was smiling as she spoke, but her smile was worse than a cry. 

Bartlett was no better, he didn’t like the idea of Theo and Ellinor having any private contact. Partly due to his own jealousy, but also because Ellinor was in no state to handle any stress. If Theo lost his temper, it could really hurt her. 

After a quick goodbye to Sophia, Bartlett was out the door. 

Sophia caught up with him. “Bartlett, you’re going after Theo and Ellinor, aren’t you? Take me with you. I want in!” 

Bartlett felt like Sophia might have had a different purpose, but he was too focused on finding Ellinor to care. 

“Alright, let’s go.” 

So Sophia hopped into Bartlett’s car. They drove slowly, keeping an eye on every car on the road, hoping to spot Theo’s. 

Even after a long while, there was no sign of his car. 

Sophia was losing hope, thinking they might not find them today. 

But then she noticed something else and curiously turned to Bartlett. “Bartlett, truthfully, do you have a thing for Ellinor?” 

Bartlett was deep in his search for Theo’s car, but Sophia’s question stopped him cold. 

He was silent for a moment, then laughed. “I do have a soft spot for her.” 

Sophia’s smile grew wider. “I love a man who’s honest! I knew I wasn’t wrong; the way you look at Ellinor is different.” 

Bartlett gave her a small laugh, refocusing on the road. 

Sophia pondered for a moment and then asked, “So, what’s your game plan?” 

As he drove, Bartlett responded. “Are you asking me how I plan to deal with Ellinor?”
