Chapter 1382 

“Just as I picked up Barber, I happened to see Byran running out to take a taxi. Since I was with Barber, I couldn’t stop him.” 

As he thought about the places his disappointing younger brother might go, Balfour couldn’t help but rub his temples, feeling a headache coming on. 

“Send a couple of guys to get him home. Don’t let him bother other people.” 

Quinton nodded. “Sure thing, Mr. Howard, I’ll send someone to bring Byran back right away.” 

Byran took a taxi to where Ida lived. 

He rang the doorbell upstairs for a while, but no one opened the door. He called Ida, but she didn’t pick up. After thinking about the intimate scene he had seen between Ida and a man at the Crescent Society this morning, his mood became extremely unstable. 

Helpless, he called Chase Larios. 

“What’s up, Byran?” 

Chase picked up the phone, but it was very noisy on his end. It sounded like he was in a nightclub. 

Byran asked irritably, “Where are you? Why is it so noisy? Why hasn’t Ida come home yet?” 

Chase chuckled. “I knew it! You wouldn’t call me for no reason. So, you’re looking for Ida, huh?” 

Byran was not in the mood for jokes. “Cut the crap! Do you know where Ida is?” 

Chase laughed. “She’s with me. We’re at Twilight Bar. Wanna join?” 

Hearing that Ida was at the Twilight Bar made Byran frown unhappily. “Why did you take her to the bar? Tell her to go home immediately! Tell her I’m waiting for her at the door!” 

Chase laughed helplessly. “Byran, you’ve got it all wrong. It wasn’t me who brought her here. We used to come here for drinks before we knew you. Besides, she’s my boss. I can’t control her. If you want to find her, come to the Twilight Bar yourself.” 

After that, Chase hung up the phone without giving Byran any chance to speak. 

Byran was very frustrated. It was getting late, and if he didn’t go home, his brother might scold him. 

But if he didn’t see Ida today, he wouldn’t be able to sleep all night. 

After hesitating for a while, he got into a taxi and headed for the Twilight Bar. 

Byran had been to the Twilight Bar before, but he didn’t go alone; usually, he would go in with Jonah and the others, so even if his brother found out, Jonah would cover for him. 

Today, he was going to enter the bar alone. He hesitated at the door, afraid that the bouncer wouldn’t let him in.
