In the M State City Hall. 

Sophia hesitated when she was handling the cancellation process. She even slowly pulled out her ID, trying to take as much time as possible. 

The lawyer Theo brought stepped forward to negotiate with the staff, explained the specific situation, and the process went smoothly according to procedures. 

Finally, the staff took back their marriage certificates and destroyed them, finally ending this non-substantial relationship. 

Theo was pushed away from the M State City Hall by Collin, ready to get in the car sent by the Blanchet Corporation to pick them up and fly back home directly from the airport. 

Sophia hastily chased him out. “Theo, why are you leaving? Didn’t we agree to have a meal together?” 

Theo didn’t care about having a meal with her. He just wanted to go back home as soon as possible, tell Ellinor that things had been resolved, and accompany her so she could peacefully wait for the birth of their child.

Collin looked at his watch. “Mr. Blanchet, it’s eight in the morning now, so we still have three hours before our flight. If you want to have breakfast, you won’t miss the plane.” 

After confirming that there was plenty of time, Theo responded indifferently and then looked at Sophia and said, “Let’s find a place nearby and grab something to 

eat.” 

Sophia got a response, but she didn’t feel relieved. 

She didn’t expect that Theo had already bought the ticket to go back home and planned to fly back home right after this meal. No, he didn’t even plan to have this meal with her from the beginning; he just wanted to go home to be with Ellinor. 

Sophia had no choice but to choose a restaurant near the M State City Hall. 

After they sat down, Sophia asked him enthusiastically what he wanted to eat, just like before. 

“Whatever.” 

His face was expressionless, but it clearly showed extreme anxiety. Obviously, he wasn’t in the mood for this meal.
