In the world of entertainment glitz and glamour, the Golden Feather Award represented the pinnacle of cinematic achievement. To even be considered for such an honor was to bask in the warm glow of industry recognition. 

The film “Ballad of Valor” had struck gold this awards season, scooping up nominations across the board: Ivy for Best New Actress, Ryan for Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Screenplay, and the coveted Best Director accolade. Each nomination was a heavyweight contender in its own right.. 

[Wow, ‘Ballad of Valor’ is really strutting its stuff at the Golden Feather Awards this year. I wonder if they can manage a clean sweep with all four noms!] 

[It’s a long shot, really. I mean, no offense, but if they pulled off a total win, where would that leave the rest of the field? This year might’ve been a bit of a dry spell for movies, but there have been some solid flicks. Victor’s performance? Absolutely mind-blowing!] 

[Victor could give them a run for their money for Best Actor, but let’s not kid ourselves about Best Original Screenplay. None of the other movies even come close to ‘Ballad of Valor’s’ plot, not to mention those without any discernible storyline.] 

Online debates raged over each category, but when it came to Ivy’s nod for Best New Actress, consensus reigned-she was simply qutstanding. Among her peers, her talent was an undeniable force, a masterclass in acting finesse. 

[If Colton hadn’t been so stingy with the Best Actress submissions, I reckon she could’ve even given the reigning queens a run for their money…] 

This particular comment shot up the ranks, with numerous passersby chiming in: [Bold words! Watch out, or the Queen Bee’s fans will come for you!] 

[Just stating the facts! Even though the reigning queen delivers consistently, next to Ivy’s powerhouse performance, it’s just not on the same level. I’m over this era of monopoly.] 

The reigning queen had dominated the scene for years, her consistent performances leaving little room for others to shine. 

Ivy, however, was poised to break that mold. 

That last comment was sent to the queen’s fans by some with an agenda, and even the queen saw it. 

“Newbies nowadays surely are ambitious.” The queen wore a smile that couldn’t quite tell if she was angry or didn’t care. 

The assistant said, “Just ignore them. They don’t know a thing and are simply jealous. Ivy’s way too green to dare challenge your status. I mean, she doesn’t even have a single award on her belt! Does she have no idea she’s nothing compared to you?”

Her fans, unlike the more composed queen herself, were quick to defend their idol when Ivy’s supporters clashed with them online. Ivy’s fans had weathered many a storm and were well-versed in the art of online warfare. 

The comments weren’t even from her fans but from the general public, expressing their thoughts. Who could blame them when the queen’s performances had become so predictable?
