“You’re the one with no class, swiping my seat and then trying to flip the script on me. How dare you accuse me of lacking manners? I splurged on front-row tickets,

And you, don’t think that wearing those trendy specs makes you civilized. In my book, you’re nothing but a Neanderthal!” 

The theater lights began to dim, signaling the imminent start of the show. Nolan, eager to avoid any further altercation with the noisy woman beside him, interjected smoothly. 

“Lady, I’m not sure how you’ve got it in your head that this seat’s yours, but maybe double-check your ticket, huh?” 

His ticket was a VIP pass, personally reserved for him by Dahlia. There was no mistake there. 

“You!” Regina snapped, voice quivering with indignation. “I’ve checked it over and over, you’re in MY seat, sitting pretty in 008, aren’t you?”

Their dispute raged on, but while Regina continued to protest, Nolan had fallen silent. 

He would’ve been fine with seat seven, but eight was smack in the center with an unparalleled view for photography.
