“Right, Ms. Mendoza donated some blood to a woman who urgently needed a blood transfusion due to a car accident.” 

“Why was she in K city that day?” 

Collin shook his head, “We can’t find out where Ms. Mendoza was going that day, but Balfour also donated blood at the K city hospital to the car accident victim. Also, Balfour made an appointment for an abortion for Ms Mendoza at Central Maternity Hospital in Greenhaven, scheduled for today” 

Theo asked, “Why would Balfour schedule an abortion for her?” 

Collin said seriously, “Mr. Blanchet, Balfour really cares for his sister. He may think that the baby in Ms. Mendoza’s belly is related to you, so…” 

Theo was taken aback, his eyes narrowed as he realized something important, “Check immediately if the pregnancy test results from the hospital where I took Ellinor for a check–up have been tampered with by the Howard family!” 

Collin also realized, “Okay, I’ll check right away!” 

With that Collin hurriedly left. 

Recalling Ellinor’s shocked and bewildered expression when she saw the pregnancy test results, Theo set down his coffee, got up, grabbed his coat and quickly walked out of the CEO’s office. 

The secretary at the door stood up respectfully and asked, “Mr. Blanchet, where are you going? The meeting later…” 

“Cancel it!” 

Theo said coldly, as he quickly stepped into the elevator, looking tense. 

Central Maternity Hospital. 

Ellinor followed Quinton to the door of the operating room that Mr. Howard had specially arranged for her. 

Balfour did not show up, but Patricia was sitting on a waiting chair by the door. 

In front of Quinton, Patricia made a reluctant face, “Quinton, isn’t Balfour being too cruel? The baby in Ellinor’s belly is a life too!” 

Quinton comforted her, “Ms. Howard, this is something Mr. Howard has already discussed with Ms. Mendoza. It has nothing to do with you, so don’t feel guilty.” 

Patricia sighed helplessly. “Then let me talk to Ellinor alone!” 

Quinton nodded and stepped back. 

Patricia turned her back to Quinton and, from an angle only Ellinor could see, gave a victorious smile.
