Ellinor seemed really friendly. She smiled and said, “Ms. Howard, could you tell me about how you saved Theo back in the day? Theo’s getting on in years, so his memory’s not what it used to be Every time I ask him, he says he forgot the details. So why don’t you fill me in?” 

Theo was at a loss for words

Patricia’s face darkened, continuing to act nervous, “Then what is this?” 

Ellinor said outright, I’m just curious about Theo’s past! 

Ms. Howard, don’t overthink it. I’m asking you because I consider you a friend. All you need to do is tell me what you remember. Well… If you don’t want to talk about it, it means you don’t consider me a friend, right?” 

Patricia fell silent.
