Chapter 936
The car pulled up in front of the Blanchet family’s house, but Theo didn’t drive in
Ellinor was beat and just wanted to get in, take a shower, and hit the hay. She saw Theo stopping the car at the entrance and asked, puzzled, “Why not drive in?”
Theo pointed ahead, That’s Balfour Howard’s car. Looks like he’s here for you.”
Following his gesture, she indeed saw a car parked down the road.
It seemed like the person in that car had noticed them. The car door opened, and Balfour got out, standing there and staring at them.
Seeing Balfour step out, Theo turned to Ellinor and asked, “Do you want to see him? If not, I can just drive in.”
He wouldn’t have given Balfour this courtesy if he wasn’t Ellinor’s blood brother.
Ellinor eyed Balfour, squinting a little, “Since he’s here, might as well see what he wants.”
“Alright, I’ll wait here. Theo gently ruffled her hair.
Then, Ellinor got out of the car and walked towards Balfour.
Seeing Ellinor step out, Balfour’s eyes lit up. He walked towards her, his tone gentle, “Ellinor.”
Ellinor’s expression was flat, “Mr. Howard, what’s up?”
Balfour nodded, “It’s chilly outside, let’s talk in the car.”
Ellinor nodded and walked towards his car.
Balfour glanced back at Theo, still in the car, nodding in appreciation for him stopping earlier.
Reaching Balfour’s car, before Ellinor could reach for the door, Balfour opened it for her.
Ellinor thanked him and got in.
Balfour got in from the other side.
As soon as the car door closed, Ellinor asked, “Mr. Howard, what’s the deal? Spit it out.”
Balfour was accustomed to her lack of warmth toward him.
“Ellinor, what’s the deal with those discussions online?”
