Returning from the Dead: His Secret Lover Chapter 1270

“Sebastian, you need to calm down!”

In the nick of time, Devin rushed over and stopped Sebastian from trying anything rash because he knew it was an attempt of the woman to provoke Sebastian into killing her.

She knew she couldn’t afford to be imprisoned by others. Therefore, she had to hit on the man’s sore spot. In other words, it was Sasha’s pregnancy.

Since this vicious woman’s the one behind Sasha’s pregnancy, she’s the only one capable of reversing whatever’s done!

Devin tried to stop irrational Sebastian from going berserk, but he was too late.

Once Felicity figured out Devin had seen through her plan, she reached for the watch on her wrist and ignite the portable device of hers.

Devin yelled with his eyes widened, “Move out of the office at once!”

He jumped aside with Sebastian in his arms immediately after he warned the rest to evacuate.

Bam!

A thunderous crack filled the scene shortly after the heavy blow sent some flying out of the window.

“H-Help me!”

Unable to run away in time, Grayson was blown away as well. Thankfully, he managed to hold on to something in the nick of time.

The heavily injured man yelled for help when he was drenched in blood.

“Hold on and try climbing up!”

Thankfully, Devin was around. He braced himself through the racking sensation and rushed to Grayson’s rescue once he returned to his senses.

Meanwhile, it took Sebastian a few seconds to snap out of confusion. Once he sat upright, he surveyed the surroundings and found out everything was in a mess.

There were casualties everywhere. A few of the armed forces he brought along seemed to have passed out.

Unsure if they were still alive or not, he clenched his fist in angst.

“Sebastian, are you fine?” Devin, who had returned after checking on the casualties, asked as he was afraid something was wrong with Sebastian since his face was soaked in blood as well.

On top of that, there were wounds on his arms. Had Devin failed to jump aside with him in the nick of time, he might end up like the unconscious ones around them.

Sebastian spent quite some time trying to gather the information he needed. However, his effort was to no avail since medical records of the patients of the hospital were the only things available.

There’s no way she’s going to leave something as important as such here when she’s here undercover! I must have lost my mind!

Sebastian knew he needed to stop wasting his time. He fell into a vicious cycle of despair and staggered.

“Sebastian—”

Devin rushed over to his rescue and stopped him from falling.

“Are you okay? You need to calm down! We’ll try our luck somewhere else since there’s no way she’s going to leave the things we’re looking for here!”

Is that really the case? I’m afraid not because Eddie is on par with Sebastian in terms of intelligence! On top of that, he’s way more experienced than us since he’s older than us!

Sebastian remained seated on the bench for a long time because he thought he was the one accountable for the miseries of the ones he held dear.

Why am I even here? Have I turned a blind eye to whatever’s going on, are we going to live a blissful life as a family of five at Miralaea? Why have I gotten myself and my family involved?
