ALINA'S POV.

For many months I struggled to get the attention of the Lycan King again to no avail. Ashanti had completely stolen his heart and was the only person he thought about all day. Nothing I did made him look my way, instead, my deeds only got him more enraged and pushed us further apart.

I have bullied, threatened, set-up and killed people for this course. Things I never thought I was capable of doing, I did them just to get into Alpha Reagan's house. That has still not happened, but it will soon, especially now that I'm pregnant.

It's just a matter of time before I kick Ashanti out of that castle and take my rightful place back in the Lycan King's arms.

A knock on my room door brings me back to earth. I tell whoever it is to come and when Nelly does, a bright smile forms on my face.

“Nelly, you're here.”

“Uh…” She stutters, looking around my bedroom, completely awed by how large and beautiful it is. “Hi.” She finally looks at me and chuckles awkwardly. “Your bedroom is magnificent.” She says, slowly making her way towards me, her face turning side to side as she ogles at the bedroom as though it's a paradise. A proud smile fleets across my face.

“Thank you.”

“You sent for me.”

“Yes.” I point over to the sitting area and we both go over and sit on different couches. Her gaze doesn't dare to match mine.

Just the sound of my name intimidates Nelly. She gets very nervous in my presence. She never dares to make eye contact with me. She’s always looking at if not the ceiling, then the wall or the floor or her fingers as she plays with them. It’s not been long since her voice stopped being a nervous shaky thing whenever she spoke to me.

It's safe to say that she's terrified of me.

She would go down on her kiss and worship me if I ordered her too.

And I like it.

I like it when my minions are scared of me. When they think of me as their goddess. It makes it easy to use and discard them when I no longer need their services.
