she winces, opening her eyes the room was much brighter than the darkroom she was in. darkroom. Sebastian. mia gasps awaking, her heart beating like a drum. the heart monitor beats wildly as she looks around the room panicked, was it another sick game of Sebastian. she looked around the room breathing heavily, there were total 4 men around her saying something but mia couldn't hear them "stop! stop! I'm tired of you fucked up games, please stop" mia pleaded as tears fall her cheek. she closed her eyes tightly as she saw her brothers, nik and Elijah around her, it was his game again, she didn't want to be part of it anymore, she was ashamed, she killed her parents, that was the reason Enzo sent her away.

mia.mia.mia. that's what she heard making her close her ears. "no, no please stop" she said in a broken voice, suddenly she felt two hands on her face, and lips on her, she snapped out of it and kissed the person back on instinct. the person pulled back and rested his forehead against hers, "nik?" she whispers opening her eyes, he nods his eyes wet with tears. the heart monitor goes down and mia calms down. "you are here" she whispers to him.

they go to kiss again and a clearing of the throat makes them pull away, nik grumbles to himself and mia cracks a small smile looking at her brothers. Enzo and Javier tackle her in a hug almost squeezing the life out of her "need to breath" she rasps out hitting their arms. she then looks at Elijah who stood nervously, she lifts her arms but Elijah hesitates "come along now, my arms are hurting" mia joked and he immediately pulled her in a hug, once he pulls away he looks at mia with so much love and adoration and guilt and bites his lip. "how are you feeling" Elijah and Javier asks and she raises her eyebrow and gestures to herself. "right, stupid question" Javier mumbles to himself.

"you are the mafia prince?" mia asks with a raspy voice, Javier hands her a glass of water which she gladly sips. Nik's eyes widen and he nods biting his lip. so what Sebastian told was the truth, he was the mafia prince, and Sebastian was his niece.

"But, it has nothing to do with what I did, "nik says quickly and mia looks at his eyes finding any trace of a lie. "its true little one, he knew you were a mafia princess when he came to us for help," Javier says and mia nods., then looks at Elijah. she wanted to ask her brothers if what she saw or dreamt was true. did she kill Alejandro and Lucia?

"Elijah is my cousin," mia says to them. he shakes his head "no, I'm not" he pauses looking at her brothers who nod encouragingly. mia frowns at him "I'm your half brother" he says and mia gasps "but-" she pauses stumbling over her words. "Sebastian took advantage of your mother and before that, he got Rachel pregnant with me" he explains and mia nods, connecting her dots. this explains why she felt connected towards Elijah who kind of flirted with her at the party.

she needed to forget that. "so he is my father?" mia says in a disgusted voice and they nod and mia looks at the Rodriguez brothers "so that means-" she gets cut off by Enzo "mia, babygirl dad loved you like his own, and even if he knew you weren't his he would have loved you wholeheartedly and you are our sister half or not" he explains kissing her head and pulling her in a hug. she cries softly overwhelmed by her emotions, she killed their father and mother. "hey! don't cry" he soothes running his hand through her hair softly. nik grabs her hand and runs circles on it.

"I killed them, I killed them" mia mumbles against Enzo. "what?" he asks pulling back, he wipes the tears which escaped her. "I killed them," mia says louder closing her eyes. "no, no you didn't" Enzo shakes his head furiously. "it wasn't your fault baby and I don't blame you neither does Javier" he whispers to her before pulling her in a hug, which Javier joined. "so you don't blame me?" she asks weakly and they shake their head "it was Sebastian's fault," Javier says kissing her head. "but who did you remember mia?' Elijah asks taking a seat in a chair beside her bed. mia frowns "Sebastian. h-he injected me with some violet or purple serum," she says looking at them, Nik's eyes widen and he sighs heavily.

"its called memoriazeste," nik says when everyone looks at him. "oh, wait but only our mafia has access to that"Elijah frowns then glares "there is a mole" he glowers at himself, nik shakes his head

"no, remember the data attack we had a few weeks ago and we were not able to recover all the files?" he asks and he nods in deep thought. "what did you see mia?"nik asks taking a seat in her bed, mia immediately cuddles closer to him and he wraps his arm around her protectively. "first- i- I was back in the.........." mia explains them everything nik breathing heavily and holding her close as she told what she saw. "we are so sorry mia," Enzo and Javier say guilty.

she shakes her head "it wasn't your fault," she says to them letting out a yawn. "you should rest, we will talk later little sister," Elijah says kissing her head. Enzo and Javier do the same whispering love you to her before leaving the room.

nik goes to leave but mia grabs his arm "stay" she says to him. he nods and mia swifts a little and he removes his shoes before laying down next to her. he wraps his arm around pulling her closer to him

"Why did you lie to me," mia asks looking up at him. "cause I'm fucking stupid that's why" he mutters kissing her head, she rests her head on his chest, her hands balled up in a fist clinging on to him. "but Kitten, I'm sorry for everything, it is my fault if I didn't leave you in the woods you wouldn't-" he gets cut off as mia places her finger on his lips. "shut up" she mumbles to him, mia stares into his forest green eyes she missed a lot, even though he hurt her she wanted to go back to him and a part of her knew, no matter how many times nik would hurt her she will always love him.

he runs his hands through her hair, relaxing her nerves "nik" mia mumbles in a sleepy voice.

"yes princess," he asks, "promise me you will never leave me," she asks him and he doesn't reply for a minute, when mia was about to ask again she hears him say "I promise that I will come back to you princess, no matter what" nik kisses her head as she drifts off to sleep.

when mia opened her eyes again, she found herself in a different room, she panicked thinking it was all a dream, she pulled the sheets off her and stepped out of the bed. she looks down to find herself in a black bra and some cotton shorts. she touches the bandage on her ribs, it was fresh. she shakes her head, she had to get out of here somehow, this was another game of Sebastian, god she hated that bastard. the bathroom door opens and nik walks in with wet hair and a towel wrapped around his waist. his eyes widen looking at mia "what are you doing out of bed?" he yells at her, he walks towards her and picks her up, and places her on the bed again, mia leans against the headboard as nik sits in front of her.

"how long was I asleep?" mia asks him as he plays with her hair. "a day and a half" he replies tucking a stand behind her ear. "listen to me mia," he says grabbing her attention. "look, I'm sorry for the fake dating thing in the starting" he pauses looking down at his hands. "but I don't regret it," he says and mia gapes at him. he doesn't care about me, of course, he doesn't . "before you overthink yourself," he says placing his hand on her cheek. "look," he says lifting her chin, as mia tried hard not to cry. she refused to look at the green eyes she fell in love with. "baby, look at me, please," he says softly and mia looks at his eyes.

"I don't regret it cause I fell in love with you, yeah a part of me regrets lying and hurting you but if I had to go back and do it again, I would, cause I love you," he says as mia bites her lip. "and loving you was the greatest thing I ever did or felt and you loving me back-" he pauses looking at her eyes, his green eyes filled with fear. "you love me right?" nik asks in a small voice. mia nods, tears brimming her eyes as he leans down to kiss her but she moves away. "say it" he whispers holding her face, "say it" he says again, his lips brush against hers "I love you" she says to him, and he slams his lips to hers. they move in a sink, taking their time, savoring the moment.
