Chapter 1027 A Big Gift

Seeing the vial of red blood, Zion turned to the outside and shouted, “Prepare the car, we’re going to the Deragon residence.”

Meanwhile, Edgar was raging back in the Deragon residence.

“I’ll kill Kai! I’m going to kill him!” Edgar yelled furiously.

How dare he humiliate me in front of so many reporters? I have never suffered such an insult!

Ryker’s expression was hostile. “What’s the point of you throwing a tantrum now? Do you have any confidence winning Kai in a battle with your current abilities?”

“I…”

Edgar was hesitant.

After all, Kai was the one who eradicated the Thunderstorm Sect and the Shalvis family. Edgar wasn’t sure if he could defeat him.

“Useless piece of trash!” Ryker cussed at Edgar’s silence.

Edgar had always been Ryker’s pride and joy. After all, for a young man like Edgar to reach the Seventh Level Martial Arts Grandmaster was a feat nothing less than a genius.

However, Kai had outperformed Edgar in every regard, and that was like a stab at Ryker’s pride.

Ryker knew Kai was his nephew and had the blood of the Deragons flowing within him, but he couldn’t accept Kai being better than his son.

At that moment, Zion approached the two.

“President Zeigler.”

Ryker was baffled by Zion’s appearance.

“Mr. Ryker, I’ve prepared a big gift for Mr. Edgar. I remembered telling you about it,” Zion reminded with a smile.

“What gift, President Zeigler?” Edgar asked urgently.

“This is not your average human blood. It belonged to a fiery constituent. I’m just having you take it when you know you’re losing to Kai. If you don’t reveal it, no one will know the vial contains human blood. Am I right?”

Zion’s expression turned stony. “Since you don’t appreciate my sincerity, I’ll take it back then.”

Right when Zion was about to reach for the vial, Ryker beat him to it and snatched the vial. “How can we not appreciate President Zeigler’s good intention?”

A smile returned to Zion’s face at Ryker’s words. “When will be the challenge date?”

“How about three days later?” Ryker asked for Zion’s opinion.

“Perfect. Be sure to teach Kai a hard lesson,” Zion answered with a nod.

“No, three days is too short.”

Suddenly, an objection yelled from outside, and soon, an elderly man dressed in a robe hurried inside.
