Walter was intrigued when he heard the tempting offer. “Kai, why don’t we just let him off the hook? Mr. Wood has already pleaded for forgiveness anyway. What do you think?”

Little did Walter know, he had been on the hit list as well. It was just that the assassins had not gone to his room first.

Kai felt better when he heard Axton’s words. Since he had put Lizbeth in good hands, he decided to make a move, but Rayleigh wanted to talk to him. “Kai! Are you going back to fight Edgar?”

“How did you know, Mr. Deragon?” Since Rayleigh stayed at the Medicine God Sect most of the time, Kai was surprised Rayleigh knew about what was happening in the outside world.
