“Take us somewhere safe, Glutton!” Rocky commanded the beast.
With a thunderous roar, Glutton soared to the sky and quickly flew away from the Purple Demonic Zone.
The elder in grey immediately chased after them alongside several mighty King Realm warriors to protect Eunice from Rocky’s attacks.
An hour of flying had passed. Rocky discovered that a few people were still on their tail. He redirected his gaze and guided Glutton to land on the dense jungle below them.
The beast followed his instruction and soon landed.
“You can return to the Magic Spiritual Space now," Rocky informed Glutton. Then he redirected his attention to Ramon and said, “You won’t be able to shake off those guys so easily. You should return to the post house. I’ll meet you there and join you once I distract them.”
“I’d prefer to stay with you. I could give you a hand when necessary,”
Ramon insisted with a frown. Although they had taken Eunice as a hostage, he was still worried.
“Don’t worry. It will be fine as long as she’s with me," Rocky assured him with a smile.
“Just be careful.” Ramon realized that remaining by Rocky’s side would be unnecessary. He immediately turned around and flew towards the post house.
Once Ramon left, Rocky took Eunice in the opposite direction.
“Let me go!” she shouted as she shot him a venomous glare.
“Your men have been following us for quite a while. If I release you, I’m afraid I’ll have to play with them all day long,” he replied with a devilish smile dancing across his lips.
“It’s no use. Even with your strength, you won’t be able to get rid of them at all,” Eunice snorted vehemently as she rolled her eyes.
“Not exactly. Truthfully, I wanted to be alone with you for… another reason,” Rocky hinted mischievously.
“What do you want from me?” Eunice asked as her demeanor swiftly morphed from being calm and cold to being curious and worried.
“Do you truly think there’s any other reason why a man would want to be alone with a woman?”
he expressed more bluntly this time.
“You mean you want to… You pervert! If you dare touch me, I’ll tear you into pieces!” Eunice broke out into a violent rage. Her face was now tinged with crimson as she struggled to free herself.
“Someone’s feisty! Could it be you’re still… a virgin?” he teased with a wiggle of his brows.
“Shut up! It’s none of your business, you idiot.” Eunice now blushed from her ears down to her neck. It was hard to tell if it was out of rage or shyness.
“Ha-ha! Alright, I’m done messing with you. I’ve brought you here because I wanted to ask you something,” Rocky asked seriously this time with a squint of his eyes.
“I’d rather die than tell you anything,” she stubbornly declared, still unwilling to cooperate.
“How did you know we snuck into your stronghold? We were very well hidden,” he asked her out of suspicion. He and Ramon hadn’t exposed their whereabouts before but the Robber Regiment was aware of their location. It didn’t make sense.
“Humph!” She held her head high, adamantly showing that she’d rather choose death over submission.
“Someone else must’ve informed you. Does anyone in the Sword Spirit City work for you?” Rocky further interrogated her.
“Humph!” There was still no progress.
“Well, if you don’t tell me, I’ll have to strip you naked and slowly slice your flesh with this dagger. I can almost hear your screams while I ravage your body…” He had no choice but to play his trump card.
“How dare you? Go to hell!” Eunice trembled as she continued to scowl in his direction.
“You don’t believe me? Try it.” Rocky's eyes turned cold.
“You…! Fine, I’ll tell you. But promise me you won’t lay a finger on me.” Finally, Eunice was willing to compromise. Her purity was nothing to joke about.
“Why should I help you?” Eunice thought that he had lost his mind. He just kidnapped and threatened her and now he wanted her help to find some alien prisoners. Only a gullible, foolish ghost would help him!
“Well, you’re still my captive. I’ll give you your freedom for your help,” he proposed.
“No. Besides, you wouldn’t dare to kill me!” She countered him, taking for granted her one chance at escape.
“Are you sure?” Rocky's face returned to its former seriousness and gave her a look that made her blood run cold.
Eunice's delicate body couldn’t help but tremble as fear surged through her. She never expected him to have a side so icy and brutal.
“Have you changed your mind yet?” he asked through slightly squinted eyes.
“What’s in it for me?” she asked, trying to negotiate. She didn’t want to be used for nothing.
“You’re one step away from ascending into the King Realm, right?” he questioned.
“Yes, but I’m about to break through soon!” Eunice answered with a nod.
“What if I can help you get there quicker?” he offered.
“Stop messing around! If that was possible, then the sky would collapse on us all.” She still believed he was just joking.
“Then let me show you how capable I am of making that happen.” And with those words, Rocky took her to his Magic Spiritual Space.
“Where am I?” Once she realized she had entered another space, her mouth gaped open in shock.
“My place. You’re welcome,” Rocky replied before he shouted, “Come out, guys! We’ve got a beautiful guest today!”
Instantly, Eunice witnessed countless martial spirits emerge from thin air. She found herself at a loss for words. She’d never seen so many spirits gathered together before.
