"It's impressive. You seem to have encountered a lot of adventures in this world," Marcia commented, smiling widely. It was rare for Marcia to be so happy. She felt as if she had returned to the past. Every time she used to see Rocky, he would always have a new surprise for her.
"Yes! The adventures are always found with me!" Rocky teased.
"Basil, is this one of the friends you've been looking for?" Eunice cut in, gesturing to Marcia. She had sensed that Marcia's attitude towards Rocky was unusual. Now, as she watched their interactions, the relationship between the two of them was clear.
"Yes. I have been looking for them both." Rocky saw no reason to deny it.
"So, now that you have achieved your goal, you can come back to the Di Clan with me!" After all this time, Eunice hadn't forgotten her task of bringing Rocky back to the Di Clan.
"I can go with you at any time. But before that happens, we have to complete the rescue mission. Marcia and her army were not the only ones who were trapped..." Rocky had been ordered to carry out the rescue mission with his soldiers. He had found Marcia, but that didn't signal the end of the mission. He had to complete the rest of his task.
"Okay. You can come with me after the rescue mission is completed." There was no reason for Eunice to object. After all, they were on a battlefield, and it was not a place where one could come and go whenever they pleased.
After she was done speaking, Eunice turned around and left. She did not want to disturb them.
"By the way, Marcia, I discovered that Alyssa is the current commander in chief of the spiritual race's army," Rocky said after Eunice was out of hearing range.
"Really?" Marcia was not as well-informed as Rocky, so she was surprised to hear the news.
"I've already gotten in touch with her. After the rescue mission is over, I want you to try to meet with her and see if she knows how to leave this world. I'll go back to the Di Clan with Eunice, and then I'll come to you," Rocky said.
"Okay. But most of the elites of the Holy Dragon Empire who were captured have disappeared. If possible, I want to find them and gather them to garner more combat power," Marcia proposed.
"I think there is someone who can help us with that," Rocky said.
"Who? Are you talking about Shirley?"
"Yes. I found her by accident."
"Seriously? Is she okay? Is the Chief of the Ximen Clan with her?" Marcia asked with concern etched into her face.
"Unfortunately, the Chief of the Ximen Clan has passed away," Rocky answered, looking down at his feet.
"What?" Marcia and Sabina were both shocked to hear that. In their opinion, Bryant was powerful and nothing could touch him.
"He died protecting Shirley so that she could escape from the Shura Race," Rocky told them, sighing.
"I hate the Shura Race! Sooner or later, they will pay for what they've done!" Marcia spat.
However, the war didn't stop Rocky and Marcia. After they had arranged everything for their troops, they went their separate ways according to their original plan. Rocky went to the Di Clan with Eunice, while Marcia took Sabina and Shirley to the edge of the spiritual race's battlefield to find Alyssa. She might be the one with the instructions on how to leave the world.
Much later, Rocky and Eunice reached the Di Clan, which was located at the foot of the mountain at the north end of the Ethereal Region.
The Di Clan's territory was very similar to an Imperial City in size. Its architectural style was also very solemn. After they arrived, a beast collected them and brought them to a magnificent hall in the depths of the Di Clan.
In the hall, they saw over a dozen old men. Each one of them was emitting an aura that was at the Emperor Realm. Within the human race, there were only over two hundred warriors at the Emperor Realm. Therefore, it was a great shock to Rocky when he saw a dozen of those powerful warriors sitting in front of him. It was a show of power for the Di Clan!
There was an old man wearing a golden robe with white hair and a young face. He was sitting in the middle of the hall and he was releasing a profound and mysterious aura at the Emperor Realm. Out of all of them, his strength was closest to the peak in the human race.
He was the current Chief of the Di Clan and the strongest spirit warrior in the Ethereal Region.
"Chief, this is Basil," Eunice said. Before coming to the Di Clan, Eunice had sent a letter that reported everything they could expect from their visit. Therefore, the Chief and all the elders that were present already knew what Rocky looked like and they knew that he had merged with the Army-blessing Scroll.
"Nice to meet you all. I am Basil," Rocky greeted in a voice dripping with politeness.
"We are all familiar with what happened to the Army-blessing Scroll. Since you can merge with it, that means you are the destined person. According to the wishes of the deceased Di Clan's members, if we were to meet a person who can merge with the Army-blessing Scroll, we must try our best to help them and protect the human race," the Chief of the Di Clan explained.
