Zachary was a little surprised. He hadn't expected Molly to be such a good cook.

He enjoyed the lunch thoroughly.

After he finished his meal, he instinctively reached out to clear the dishes. Then, he remembered he no longer had to do these things.

So, he got up and returned to his room.

The pair didn't speak for the rest of the day aside from their brief exchange in the morning.

At 3:30 pm, a knock sounded at Zachary's door.

Zachary was slightly puzzled by it. But, he still called out, "Come in!"

"Zac… I need to use the bathroom," Molly said as she stepped inside. Her cheeks were flushed, and her slender legs were pressed tightly together.

"There's only one bathroom here. Next time, just come in if you need to use the bathroom. There's no need to knock," he replied with a slightly awkward expression.

With that, he returned to reviewing his documents.

A moment later, he heard the door close.

He sighed in relief, thinking that Molly had left his room. He couldn't help but feel slightly resigned about everything.

"Seems like I'll need to rent a new place," he thought, frustrated by the situation.

When he had rented this apartment, he had paid the full year's rent upfront and signed a lease. If he rented a new place now, it would mean that he would lose a whole year of rent.

Back then, he hadn't thought much about it because he assumed he would be living alone.

But things were different now that Molly was here. If she continued to stay, she would need to frequently come into his room to use the bathroom.

Renting a new place wasn't an issue financially for Zachary. However, he had learned to live frugally throughout the five years he spent with Wendy.

He didn't want to waste money unless it was absolutely necessary.

"Zac, is there something wrong?"
