Not long after, Emily was surrounded by a group of classmates outside the gates of Saint Night Academy while Samantha calmly walked in alone.

They moved on to other topics after talking about Emily. “Hey, did you see Twitter? That director who got caught up in scandals with the actresses has just announced that he’s going back to work. He’s now holding auditions for a female lead.“– 

“Who would want to work with such a scandal–ridden director?” 

“Well, you can’t say that. Some scandal–tainted actresses might take the job for the money.” 

“Exactly. There aren’t just shameless men in this world. There are plenty of shameless 

women, too.” 

“Agreed.” 

The women gossiped enthusiastically, not noticing how Samantha’s face had darkened. 

She knew that director and had met him once in her previous life. 

After Noah’s betrayal, she contemplated suicide. Then, she met that director who saved her. He had even shared some of his dark secrets to her. 

He told her he had directed a hit TV show and won the best director award in his youth.

Samantha no longer thought about taking her own life after hearing the director’s story. She wondered why should she, who had only experienced betrayal, contemplate suicide if this director could endure such hardship without giving up. 

So, Samantha chose to keep living after the director’s encouragement. Yet later, Noah and Amy still killed her after she witnessed their affair. 

Even so, Samantha was still grateful for the director’s words at that time. 

‘You can see hope as long as you live! 

She believed it, too. I will see hope as long as I live! 

Now that this director was preparing a new show and looking for actors, Samantha thought she might be able to help him a little so he could also see a glimmer of hope. 

Samantha pulled out her phone and looked at the director’s post on Twitter.
