With that, she turned on her heel to leave. Amy scrambled to her feet and ran after her, grabbing her arm to stop her. 

“Samantha, I told you–if you don’t get my mom out of jail today, you’re not going anywhere. Call your lawyer right now! Tell her to release my mother! Do it, now!” 

Samantha stared at her, a cold smile spreading across her face. “You want me to call? Is that it?” 

Amy nodded furiously. “Yes!” 

“Fine. I’ll make the call.” 

Samantha pulled out her phone from her bag and dialed Sidney Caffero’s number. The call was quickly answered. She said, “Mr. Caffero, I heard you put Amy’s mother in jail?” 

Sidney assumed she was calling to reprimand him for taking matters into his own hands. He quickly explained, “Ms. Wallace, I just wanted to help you get some justice. And I didn’t make up any charges–everything is backed by evidence. So, you don’t have to worry about that woman suing you.” 

Samantha chuckled. “I trust you to get things done, Mr. Cafferò. It’s just that Amy is here bugging me to release her mother, and it’s giving me a headache. She’s being incredibly noisy. I was wondering if there’s any chance you could send her to jail as well?” 

Standing nearby, Amy was waiting eagerly for Samantha to instruct Sidney to release her mother. Samantha gave a satisfied hum and hung up the phone. She turned her gaze to Amy. “Get ready to receive a letter from my lawyer.” 

With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Amy standing there in shock, completely thrown off. How could this d*mned Samantha treat me like this? 

Watching her figure disappear, Amy roared in fury, “Samantha! You’ll pay for this–I won’t let you get away with it! I swear, you’ll regret this!” 

Samantha ignored her and walked straight toward the classroom. Amy stood frozen in place, stomping her foot in frustration. Just then, Emily walked out from a distance, and Amy’s gaze instantly locked onto her.
