Sitting up, Finley gazed at the curious Samantha and ruffled her hair. “A contract she should sign, or more accurately, a document.”

“A document?”

Finley had Samantha help him into his wheelchair, then instructed her, “Go to the study and bring me the first document.”

She obliged, taking out a bagged document and handing it to Finley, who took it and said,

“I can go with you.”

“As long as you sign this document, I’ll stop confining you and let you leave,” said Finley expressionlessly as he handed her the document.

He sent out a bunch of people half a month ago to capture me, but now, he’s suddenly releasing me. Why does it sound so suspicious? This document isn’t some slave deed, is it?
