Once they hung up on the call and wrapped up the session, Kenji felt motivated. He couldn't wait to pick on Nathan once more.
He gave it a thought and realized it wouldn't be an easy feat to take Nathan out, even though they were currently away from the North, and his troops weren't with him.
Therefore, he decided to reach out to another friend of his amongst the connections he had.
The person whom he reached out to was none other than Aran.
Aran was one of Kenji's brothers from another mother. He was actually the one who had contributed to the success of Kenji's firearm deals when Kenji had penetrated the market worldwide with Aran's aid.
Kenji had once been ambushed by the terrorists of Africa when he attempted to strike a deal with them.
Aran was the one who had protected Kenji. Using a rifle and a gun, Aran brought Kenji along with him and fought their way through a thousand terrorists. In the end, Kenji got to live to tell the tale because they managed to break through their foes' encirclement.
In an attempt to breakthrough, a thousand men had been slaughtered by Aran during that particular fight.
Therefore, Aran's name was well known throughout Africa and globally.
The foreigners were impressed because Aran had managed to take the terrorists out on his own. They granted him the title of Odin; he was considered the equivalent of God of War of the North.
Ever since then, no one from the mercenaries or the firearm industry had the audacity to pick on Kenji due to his relationship with Aran.
Just as Kenji was about to get in touch with Aran, he received a call from the man. It was as though Aran was already aware of what Kenji was up to.
The moment Kenji picked up the call, he heard an arrogant man's voice telling him, "Hey, Kenji! I'm back! I'm currently on my way out of Brimmopolis International Airport. I need a ride immediately. Do you think you'll be able to pick me up?"
Kenji was delighted and overjoyed at the same time. He exclaimed, "Hey, Aran! You're finally back! I'm afraid you'll have to make another trip because I'm currently away from Brimmopolis. Why don't you head over to Channing at the South?"
"What the hell are you up to in Channing at the South?" Aran asked, confused and shocked.
"It's a long story. Someone killed my brother, so I'm currently on a trip to avenge him. You're back just in time because I'm in desperate need of your help to take out the Ares of the North. He's also known as the God of War. I'm afraid you're the only one who can deal with him," Kenji explained.
Soon, the SWAT and the security guards realized Aran didn't have any prohibited items or weapons with him.
However, they were shocked when they figured out the truth. There were quite a few bullets and shrapnel within his body.
The security inspection leader asked, "Why didn't you remove the bullets and shrapnel from your system?"
"I consider it as souvenirs from different parties," Aran beamed in reply.
The security personnel were dumbfounded and at a loss for words. They exchanged glances before they looked at Aran in disbelief. They found him absurd.
Suddenly, Kenji rushed over with his bunch of underlings. He asked indifferently, "Hey, is my friend allowed to leave yet?"
