At the Crescent Moon Hotel.
Penny and her family soon felt the desolate atmosphere of the venue. This was because most of the guests that she had invited had gone to the Excalibur's party in Brimmopolis.
Benson, Leah, and Kylie were all disgruntled after finding out the reason.
This was doubly hurtful as they only invited Penny's closest friends and family to the birthday banquet.
All that were invited would usually suck up to Penny to get into her good graces. However, they had all shown their true colors this time by attending the Excalibur party and not Penny's birthday banquet.
At that moment, Benson and the others present couldn't help but sigh at the empty banquet venue.
Penny, on the other hand, didn't mind it at all. “Even though there are many people who couldn't make it to my birthday banquet today, there are many others that could. I am sincerely grateful for those who were able to attend today,” Penny said with a smile.
The attendees' faces lit up upon hearing her words. “Yeah! We would never have missed your birthday!” everyone cheered.
“Dad, Mom, Grandpa, and Kylie. Not only did these friends of mine come to celebrate my birthday today, but I also have my family with me too. As well as Nathan and Queenie, who are always by my side,” Penny said with a warm smile to her family.
“I am already content,” Penny continued.
Benson, Leah, and the rest of the Smith family beamed at what they had just heard.
“That's right! Don't be down in the dumps, everyone! I'm sure there will be more guests coming later! In fact, I think that this birthday banquet will be roaring once everyone is here!” Nathan added with a smile.
Everyone present went silent at his remark.
Who else would come? Everyone that isn't already here must have gone to the other party
“Nathan, who else did you invite?” Penny inquired curiously.
Just as Nathan was about to speak, a parade of cars had already made their way to the entrance of the hotel.
At the very front were four police motorcycles that were responsible for redirecting traffic for the said parade.
Behind the motorcycles were several police cars, and behind them were several sedans. Finally, at the end of the parade, luxury sedans such as the Audi A6 and Passats were used by the administration.
Mr. Waters was Donnie Waters' father, and Mr. Herrington was Marshall Herrington's father.
The people who followed were all big shots as well. All of them were fathers of some prominent figures of the Excalibur gang from Brimmopolis.
So the Excalibur invited all of Penny's guests to Brimmopolis for their party, but Nathan invited all of the Excalibur's fathers over here?
The crowd could only look at each other with blank stares, and their jaws dropped.
Nathan, you are freaking awesome!
Before anyone could recover from their stupor, Diego Waters and Travis Herrington had already made their way towards Nathan. “Greetings, General!” they cried in unison.
“We came as soon as we received your call to attend the Mrs. Cross' birthday banquet,” explained Diego.
“Yeah! We even prepared a little gift! We hope you don't mind!” agreed Travis.
