Wilfred and his men started preparing for the wedding and planning how to take revenge on Nathan.
Every one of them thought that they kept the kidnap in the dark perfectly.
Little did they know, from the moment Wilfred came out of the prison, there was a group of mysterious men keeping a close eye on them.
These men belonged to a secret intelligence agency called Phantom Intelligence.
This agency reported directly to and followed only the orders of the President.
In the meantime, in the study of the White House.
With his eyes squinted, Hansel was taking small sips of a cup of warm tea while listening to the head of Phantom Intelligence.
Drogo said with much respect. “President Windsor, right after Wilfred left the prison, he immediately went to his son's grave. He even secretly sent his men to kidnap Nathan's daughter to force her to marry his deceased son as an act of revenge on Nathan.”
A hint of a smile was on Hansel's face. “A posthumous marriage?”
“He wants to take vengeance on Nathan by killing his daughter and making her his son's bride. At the same time, he's doing this to declare that he's back, paving the way for himself to return to the political arena. He even dares to lay a finger on the General of the North.”
Drogo asked, “President Windsor, what should we do now?”
“Send someone to secretly inform Nathan about Wilfred's plan to kidnap his daughter, Queenie. Afterward, he'll take care of the rest. We can continue to watch them on the sidelines.
Besides, with his personality and capability, I believe Nathan will put Wilfred in his place,” Hansel answered.
“Yes, sir!” Drogo replied.
In the afternoon, Nathan, Kylie, and Colin were having lunch at a hotel.
Just then, one of the Elite Eight approached them. “General, the butler of the Lieberman family, Greyson, would like to meet you.”
With that, he turned around and left.
Looking at the invitation card on the table, Nathan felt a little puzzled. “What's Wilfred trying to do?”
“I guess he just wants to show off or poke fun at you, General. I don't think we should go,” Colin answered.
Suddenly, Nathan's phone rang.
Glancing at the unknown number on the screen, the man was surprised, but he picked the phone up anyway.
A croaky voice came from the other side of the phone. The caller didn't introduce himself but told Nathan a piece of shocking news.
“General, Wilfred has sent people to the South to kidnap your daughter. He's going to kill her tonight, bury her body beside his son's grave, and hold a posthumous wedding.”
