Upon hearing those words, Milton's eyes lit up, and he gave Nathan a solemn bow.

Seeing that most of the tension in the room had been resolved, Mavis walked over and shook Kylie's arms. “Kylie! Your boyfriend is so amazing!” she said, smiling.

Kylie smiled back. Well, he is amazing, indeed, but I'm just his cousin-in-law.
