The manager's eyes widened in terror and was about to scream.

Right at this moment, Nathan lifted his leg and kicked the man's knee.

Crack!

In no time, the man's kneecap instantly broke. The sound of bone cracking sent shivers down everyone's spine.

“Argh!”

The man with dreadlocks fell to the ground before Nathan and wailed in extreme pain.

Everyone in the center, including the manager and Kylie, couldn't help but cover their ears to stop listening to his shrieks.

At this time, more mercenaries arrived at the scene like a pack of wolves.

One of the mercenaries tried to plunge his dagger swiftly toward Nathan.

Nathan grabbed his wrist with his left hand and threw a punch into his face with another hand.

Bang!

His face caved in as blood spattered everywhere. The next moment, he collapsed and died before he could even make a sound.

Just then, another mercenary swung a knife toward Kylie.

Nathan noticed and threw a sidekick at his body. The poor guy was sent flying meters away, and blood spurted out of his mouth.

The manager and his staff couldn't believe what they saw now.

Nathan leisurely strolled forward and, without much effort, his opponents screamed and collapsed one by one.

In merely seconds, the dozens of mercenaries were drenched in blood, and only Mars was still standing.

With a grim expression, he bellowed, “God of War, I will face you.”

Nathan furrowed his brows when he looked at him. “You seem to be born in this country. Alas, why did you choose to be an evildoer?”

Nevertheless, Mars apparently didn't want to waste his time talking to him. He immediately rushed toward Nathan like a ferocious tiger with sharps claws and slashed toward his neck with

his knife.

As Nathan observed his movement, he suddenly gripped the back of his knife and stopped him from moving an inch.

Although Nathan was aware of it, he was unperturbed and didn't do anything in response.

Meanwhile, Dark Lord was actually on the rooftop of Bauhinian Hotel. He frowned deeply because none of his subordinates carried out a successful ambush nor killed Nathan until now.

Even though there was a helicopter on the rooftop of this hotel, Nathan surprisingly wasn't in a rush to escape using it. Also, he didn't choose to escape from the basement parking area.

One of his subordinates said respectfully,

“Captain, Hadis and Mars died.”

Also, Nathan's subordinate had already gained control of the security control room. As such, we've lost our upper hand against them. Should we retreat?”

Dark Lord replied coldly, “If we retreat now, there might not be another chance to kill Nathan to take vengeance.”

He thought for a while and asked, “Which floor was Nathan on during the last time we encountered him?¹

The subordinate said, “The twenty-first floor!”

Dark Lord squinted his eyes and said in a deep voice, “I'll look for him by myself to finish this. One of us must die today.”
