Midnight soon arrived.

In the military hospital's ICU department, a man wearing a white robe and a mask appeared in the silent corridor.

There were two men in black suits standing guard outside a ward.

At that moment, both of them were nodding off.

When they heard footsteps approaching them, they quickly raised their heads. Seeing that the person was a doctor, they did not pay further heed and continued dozing off.

That man, who was wearing a white robe and a mask, was none other than Caspian.

He was a fighter nurtured by Boris, known to do all of his dirty work.

This time, he was under orders to kill Colson.

Glancing at the two sleepy guards at the door, a cold smirk flashed across his face as he suddenly attacked.

He slammed the back of his fists against the guards' necks, knocking them out instantly.

He gently pushed the door open and quickly snuck in.

The lights in the ward were turned off, plunging the entire room into darkness.

The vague figure of a man lying on the hospital bed could be seen, with a blanket covering him.

A cruel smirk appeared on Caspian's face as he whipped out a dagger. He approached the man on the bed and stabbed the dagger into his heart.

Smack!

However, when the dagger pierced through the cotton blanket and stabbed into the “man”, a weird sound was produced.

Caspian's expression changed instantly.

His dagger had not stabbed a human at all!

In a mixture of surprise and fury, he directly flipped the blanket away before realizing that the 'man' lying on the bed was actually a silicone model used in clothing stores!

When he stared at the silicone model on the bed, his heart skipped a beat. For some reason, he felt like he was the prey who had ventured into a hunter's trap.

Large groups of soldiers sprinted toward the direction where he had escaped to.

Number Three of the Elite Eight remarked, “That guy escaped.”

To that, Colin scoffed, “I was still worried about how to let this guy run away. I didn't expect him to be strong enough to do so himself. Well, that saves us the trouble of cooperating with him and allowing him to 'escape' naturally.”

The Elite Eight could not help but chuckle.

Beckoning them, he said, “Let's report to the General. It's time to nab the main culprit.”

With severe injuries, Caspian desperately tried to escape. Despite being chased by numerous soldiers, he could not be bothered to mull over it. After much difficulty, he finally returned to the Tucker family's residence.

When Godric saw Caspian return with such severe injuries, he was shocked. “What happened to you?”

Enduring the excruciating pain of his wounds, he relayed the incident.
