Gillian was having dinner when her lawyer, Jeffrey Nelson, rushed to Sunny Canopy Resort to see her.

With sweat dripping down his forehead, he explained to Gillian about Penny's reaction upon receiving the lawyer's letter.

She was shocked and furious to learn that.

“What? That b*tch didn’t take our lawyer’s letter seriously and said that my son deserved it?”

Jeffrey reaffirmed with a wry smile, “Yes! She even said that she would fight to the finish if you pursued the matter and took her to court.”

Gillian fumed, “This is ridiculous! I wanted to force her to apologize and compensate. If she is willing to sell Cross Group to the Goldstein family at a cheap price, I won't go after her for the

assault on my son.”

She then continued, “She has crossed the line. It seems like she won't give in until she's been utterly defeated!”

“I heard that Mr. Alan had captured all the eighteen soldiers who assaulted your family. If he could make them admit Penny instructed them, then she would be screwed,” Jeffrey suggested.

Gillian got a twinkle in her eye upon hearing his suggestion.

When she was about to contact her younger brother, Alan Goldstein, he suddenly came in.

“Hey Alan, you came right on time! Jeffrey told me you had captured the eighteen soldiers. If you could make them admit Penny instructed them, she would have to bear the consequences.

Alan replied with a bitter smile, “Gill, I'm here to tell you about this. I have released the eighteen soldiers.”

Gillian was shocked and infuriated. “What? Why did you release them? They hurt our men and broke Ceaser's leg!”

Alan was rather helpless. “I had no choice! Nathan sent a letter to inform that the North Army had a major military operation and to recall all the soldiers urgently.”

He then added, “He even instructed that neither any individual nor unit should obstruct him, or else those who caused them to lose this opportunity of defeating the enemy would be punished by military law.”

Gillian was stunned. “Who? Bay Cross?”

Upon hearing that name, Alan reacted angrily, “This guy is one of Penny's bodyguards. He broke not only Ceaser's rib by stomping on it but also Ceaser's leg by his order!”

With a murderous glare, Gillian shouted, “How dare he come to see me after hurting my son!”

She then ordered, “Let him in!”

“Yes, Madam!” Her subordinate answered immediately.

Gillian and numerous fighters of the Goldstein family, together with Alan and his subordinates, were all staring coldly at the entrance.

Soon, under the cold-eyed gaze of everyone, a tall man with a dignified appearance walked in at a moderate pace.

That was Bay Cross, or rather it was Nathan Cross in disguise!
